Our Magic New Family

Part 1 Kat's pov.

Well then..... 

My name's Kat. I'm a completely "normal" 11 year old. That is, if you call living in the streets with my best friend Sarah normal. We're orphans, since we were about 5. I love playing Minecraft and singing.

We were just about 8 when we discovered the Magic Animal Club. I started watching them, and discovered the power of YouTube. Last year, I started to sing for money. I would sit outside a restaurant a with Sarah, who's also 11, and sing songs. During Christmas time, that all changed.

We were darting through the crowd at night, on Christmas Eve, when we smashed into 2 people. The one I bumped into let out a little yelp. "I'm so sorry!" I apologized, handing her the bag she had. My breath formed a cloud in front of my face. My hands and feet were numb from the cold. Sarah nudged me. "Look up," she mouthed. I willed myself to look up. The girl was crying. "cmon cheer her up like you do me" she whispered and rushed off when she spotted someone else...
