Life in my school sucks.
Not for everybody, though. The jocks and good looking people seem to have it all. They don't have to worry about being made fun of, spitballs, theft, locked in locker, or any other middle school torture you could think about. The people who seem to have nothing are the guys at the bottom of the food chain. To most people, they're disgusting. Social outcasts. Losers. Monsters of society. Barely even deserve to live.
You probably know where I am on the chain.
I don't think I'm that ugly. Sure, I love any type of card games. I wear button up shirts to school. I own the nerdiest glasses Costco has to offer. I listen to classical music. A small minority of my friends are autistic or just really dumb.
So, I'm not gonna be Mr. Popular anytime soon. But that's not to say I don't have a lot of friends. Sure, there all geeks and nerds, but hey, I love 'em (In that non-homo way of course). At least when I'm taking a beating, I know my friends are right next to me getting hit as well.
Thinking back, my friends are probably the reason why I haven't suffered any psychiatric problems. Without them, I would probably be locked away in an asylum, screaming "Burn the middle school".
Well, maybe there is another reason why middle school isn't so bad. In the beginning of 6th grade, I met a girl doing the musical. In all honesty, she was the most beautiful girl God could've made. She was an Asian girl who seemed to bring joy with everything she touched. She made magic in front of people's eyes, just by walking by. With her shining black hair, eyes that look directly at your soul, a smile which could light up this whole town (Taylor Swift), and basically everything else that comes with beauty. If I had the choice, I would say something. Whether it's something meaningful, or a simple "hello" I've always wanted to say something.
I just could never build up the courage to.
