Prologue

''This is the most boring evening in my life!'' Harry complains loudly. ''Yeah, I know, right...'' Niall answers and puts away his controler.

''Guys, it's halloween, what the fuck do you wanna do?'' I ask, half asleep, because well, I'm tired as fuck. ''Normal people do funny things on halloween, so come on! Let's go out and have some fun! I mean we're 17, your mum won't notice anything!'' Louis begs now.

So my boys and I are having a sleepover at my house. Our squad consists out of four boys, Harry, the one who's always bored, Niall that fake blonde Irish jerk, Louis the sassiest person on earth and me the nerd.

It's Halloween and I have to confess that I'm hella scared of this whole thing, because every year 2 or 3 people get lost and killed this night. And it all happens close by this big mansion next to the forest.

No one knows who lives there. ''Liam? Are you coming with us?'' Niall asks. ''Yes, wait a second.'' I answer and put my jacket on.

''Where are we going to? I'm tired, I wanna sleep now! Can't we just go back inside?'' I whine as we leave the house behind us.

''Go back, man. We are staying outside.'' Louis shouts angrily. ''No...'' ''Then shut up!''

He must be in a very bad mood. Oh yea.

Our way continues through the streets where teenagers and kids laugh. But the more we go towards the forest, the less you can see people around. ''There is it.'' Harry smirks playfully.

I look up from the bottom and stare to the mansion. This is my first time standing here and I have to say, it is not that frightening than I thought. Yes, it is huge, but it looks peaceful, really peaceful, almost invitingly.

''Let's have a look'' My voice seems loud in the silent area. ''Payne? Are you serious?''

''Yeah, it looks just so...beautiful!'' I explain my thoughts. "What the fuck are you doing? Payne come back! Don't go inside! There might live a killer!" Harry shouts, now he's the one who is really scared, just like the others.

But I don't stop and continue my way to the big doors. Suddenly someone pats my back, Louis. "If you're going into it, I won't leave you alone."

"Thanks buddy"

The other two boys run to us, so we walk together, hand in hand, into the big mansion.

As soon I enter it, the peaceful atmosphere is blown away. The doors are heavy and the floor makes some scary noises. It is cold in here and a lot of spiders are hanging down from the walls. And this is the only thing I can see.

"Let's go outside... This was a fucking bad idea!" I whisper and want to reach Louis arm, but he isn't there anymore.

Panic overcomes me. I'm standing alone here! "Louis? Harry? Niall? Come back, this is not funny! I dare you to leave this house without me!"

Silent.

"Aww, look how cute you are! Standing there, not knowing where're your friends at." An angelic voice speaks slowly out of nowhere.

"Who are you? I can't see you!" My eyes scan the darkness, but I cannot find anyone. "Help me!" I shout loudly as I begin to run back to the doors.

But I can't see them, they are away! "Don't try to escape, my boy. I will find you. This is my place, you know? And I barely like it, when stupid little kids try to disturb my peace."

"Let me go and I swear, I won't ever disturb you!"

"Hmm...No. You are too cute to let go."

"Don't call me fucking cute! I'm 17 years old!" I shout angrily.

The voice laughs silently. "That was such a bad idea to enter this house..."

"W-why?"

''Because once you are in it, you won't get rid of the demon that's living inside.''

''Which demon?''

"Me."
