The silent house stood still as all floors were quiet and the walls didn't say a word. Stairs were being unused and the kitchen cleaned for the next use.
The silence was soon inturupted by a loud knocking that ran throughout the house. Abree snapped awake and looked around hearing the knocking once agian she got up and trudged to stairs then the front door.
Abree noticed the brightness coming from outside "what time is it" she said rubbing her eyes and walking to open the red front door.
A woman stood in a maid uniform along with curly brown hair her age was around twenty years old. And she had a bag along with a coat.
Abree looked at her with caution and confusion "and you are" she said with her hand above her eyes to block the very sun high up in the sky.
"Oh sweat Mrs. Pines I am your maid, Mrs. Christie decided you should have the same offer as the previous owners, my I come in to rearrange the times I will be here, you will not have to worry about paying for my assistance that's already has been covered"
"Can you come back some other time, I have work at six in the morning" said Abree making a slightly quiet side comment "what time is it" she said about to close the door.
"Mam it's actually passed six it's almost eight in the morning I tend not..." the maid was then cut off by a panicking Abree "No it can't the clock would've went off" she said running into the kitchen for the time.
The maid then let herself in closing the door behind her and following Abree into the kitchen. "Shit!!, I might be fired" she said running passed the maid and up the stair in which her kids where coming down.
Cody looked at his mother with confusion his eyes then trailed to the maid which was standing down on the first step of the staircase, "come on Abby let's get some breakfast" he said as Abby whipped her eyes with her free hand.
"I can cook you two any breakfast you would like I will be here till I get my work arrangements set forth" she said with a smile, Cody looked at her strangely "chocolate chip pancakes with bacon" he said in a questioning voice.
"Of course I can" she said leading the two kids into the kitchen. Mrs. Pines dashed down the stairs with her high heels in her hand, a handbag in the other along with tons of papers in between her arm and stomach.
Behind the dashing Mrs. Pines came a tired yawning Mr. Pines coming after is wife. Both of them quickly kissed eachother and Abree sprinted to her car. Ben walked to the Kichen welcoming his kids to a nice warm morning.
His eyes then trailed to a working twenty year old maid mixing the powdered pancake mix, "and you are, if I may I ask" he said.
"I am your maid I will be working for you on sundays only, I have other clients. I was hired by Mrs. Christie and she wanted your family to have the same opportunity as the previous owners" she said flipping the pancakes onto Cody's plate and Abby's.
"Okay, well kids hope you enjoy your breakfast I'm going to my study" he said while looking at the maid. Ben walked to his study with the maid on his mind.
Cody noticed the way his father was acting, cody rolled his eyes while taking another bite "this was good thank you" the maid looked at cody "your welcome, well I should be going" she said while gathering her bag and jacket.
Abby looked at Cody without eating a bite, Cody looked at his sister in confusion and then started eating the piece of pancake in his mouth more slowly.
Abby turned her tall island chair and then slipped off leaving her blanky on the seat, Abby walked to the living room and sat down on the couch and then stared ouside.
