Reba's little ones chapter 2

Chapter 6

It's been four weeks since the twins we born and thanksgiving is in a couple of days
Reba walked into the nursery and smiled at her new born babies. "Hi honeys!" She said
They both were sound asleep
She smiled and decided she would go for a run while they were still asleep and do a work out. She was looking fantastic, she looked great, all her baby fat was gone.
Savannah was at school and Narvel was working in the home office so she decided to work out alone
She let Narvel know she was leaving and that to watch for the kids when they wake up
She put her headphones and started running
She was working up to running a marathon.
Narvel and Savannah were both so proud of her.
She ran a total of 13 miles and came home
Narvel was in the kitchen holding two fussy babies
"Are my babies hungry" she said breathing heavy
"All three of them." He said
"Oh shut up you big baby" he said hitting his chest and wiping her body down and wiping the sweat away
"What I haven't eaten yet." He chuckled
"Yeah well I had things to do you couldn't cook your own breakfast? And warm up the bottles of breast milk in the fridge. You lazy ass." She wasn't in a good mood, she grabbed the twins.
"Baby there are no bottles in the fridge." Fallon screamed
"Then check the damn freezer!" She said opening it and their was at least ten bags. "Open your eyes Narvel. I'm sick of doing all the work around here." She said bouncing Fallon on her hip and placing Jack in his swing while she got the bottle ready.
"I'm sorry honey." He said
She just ignored him
"I'll feed the babies and you can go take a relaxing bath." He said
She looked at him like he was stupid. "Narvel I would really like for you to just go." She said and Fallon wouldn't take the bottle so Reba sat back and let her latch on to her boob.
"Then let me feed Jack." He said
"No Narvel. He's fine till I'm done." She snapped
"What's wrong? You were mad before your run?" He asked
"Narvel leave me alone." She said coldly
"I love you." He said
"Please just leave me alone okay." She said
"No I wanna know that's wrong?" He asked
"No Narvel." She said looking down at Fallon.
"Honey why not?" He asks
"Because." She said
"Tell me." He said
"No." She said
"Why not?" He asked
"Because." She said
"Because why?" He asked
"Because I said so." She said
"Reba is it something I did?" He asked
She looked at him. She exploded. "OF COURSE ITS SOMETHING YIU DID!!!!!!" She yelled at him. "You are the laziest person I have ever met! You never help out with the babies, I'm up all night with them and you don't help! I'm with them all day and I give you one responsibility and you can't do it! I just asked you to watch them and feed them! But you can't even do that, I'm sick of you doing nothing Narvel!" She yelled at him.
"I don't do anything!! How do think this house is still so clean?! You haven't let me help with the babies! Every time I try to. You say no I got it! And excuse me for trying to make sure you still have a music career once you get back! And also Savannah. She misses you! Every time she tried to talk to you. You have to go to the babies." He said
Reba looked at him. She picks up Jack and walked out of the room.
Narvel burps Fallon
Reba came back and took Fallon. "Just clean the house you Asshole." She said coldly
"Reba!" He said
She looked at him and flipped him off. She put the babies down for a nap.
"How mature of you." He spas
Said
Reba turned around and this time, she was crying. "Yeah... It was." She said said and turned back around
"Honey I'm sorry." He said
She just shook her head. She was packing the twins a bag
"Reba I have a surprise for you." He said
"I don't want it. Me and the kids are going to stay with Mel." She said
"You don't want our family to come for thanksgiving and our moms to stay until January?" He said. She turned to him with different kind of tears in her eyes
"Really?!" She asked
"Why are you doing this? It's because you don't want to help out with the babies!" She yelled at him
"Reba that's the opposite of why I'm doing this! I love you and the babies more then you know and would do anything and everything for you." He said
"Your just bringing them in because you feel that Savannah needs a mother figure and you don't think I can do it! And of course it means that!" She said
"Reba you are an amazing mother and that's the truth. You always say how much you miss your mom and I miss mine too."
She sighed and the babies started fussing again. She groaned and grabbed two bottles, two diaper and two blankets, each babies favorite blanket.
"Honey let me. Please." He said
"I have it. Just go back to work." She said putting the two blankets over each shoulder and picking up the babies.
"Reba please I want to help and spend time with them." He said
She didn't reply. She had already told him and he wasn't listening so she blocked him out and started singing to the babies
His heart melted
She bounced softly and smiled at the now calm babies
"I love you both so much. I love your daddy that much too." She said forgetting he was in room
He chuckled
"He just makes me mad sometimes. But I love him no matter what." She said
He smiled and jacked squealed
"What buddy?" She smiled
He kicked his legs
"Do you want daddy?" She asked
He smiled his big toothless grin
"Come here little man." Narvel smiled
Reba handed him over with a burp cloth, he was a vomitter
Narvel poked his lips for a kiss and Reba pecked his lips
"Careful, he vomits.... A lot." She said
He nodded
Reba bounced Fallon
The puppies ran into the room
Reba pushed them away
"Puppies sit." She said and they sat
She smiled
They heard the front door opening. It was Savannah
"Vannah! In the living room" she said
Vannah walked into the living room
"Hey" she smiled
"Hi." She smiled
"Wanna see Sissy Fallon?" She asked
Fallon smiled
Reba smiled turning to Vannah
"Come here little girl." Savannah said taking off her backpack and putting it on the couch l
Reba handed the baby over and she was definitely still acting like a new born.
"How's your day?" She asked
"I ran 13 miles, fed the twins and yeah." She said
"That's awesome." I said
She
She nodded
"What about you Fallon?" She asked
She looked up at Vannah but didn't do anything
"Hi pretty." She smiled
She smiled cutely
Savannah smiles and kissed her cheek
She smiled
"I love you." She said
"She loves you more" she said
Savannah smiled
Fallon curled up
Savannah leaned back on the couch and laid her on her chest
She curled up, fitting perfectly on her chest
"Look at our girls." Reba smiled
Savannah smiled big
"Their perfect." Narvel smiled
Savannah rubbed Fallons back
"Can we watch a movie?" She asked
Reba nodded
"What do you want to watch sissy?" Savannah kissed her head
"She looks like a mamas girl, how about the little rascals?" She said
Savannah giggled and nodded
Reba popped it in and pulled Vannah over and held her. She watched her daughters bond
Narvel sat down next to Reba with Jack
She smiled at her family
They watch the movie
Reba fed the babies three times
"How hungry can they be?" Savannah asked
"Their new born" she said feeding Fallon.
"Yeah but still." She's said
"What." She said
"I didn't know new borns eat that much." She said
"You are this much" shed said
"Look at these cheeks." She pulled on her cheek
"She's my chubby sister" she said
"She's your chubby sister" she said
"And i love her." She smiled
Fallon whimpered
"What baby?" Reba asked
She was fussing
Reba took her
She started crying
"Shh shh." She said
She wasn't happy, she started screaming and through ing a fit
Reba bounced her
She made noises as she was being bounced
Reba kissed her cheek
She was still fussing
"What's wrong princess?" She asked
"Mommy" Vannah said
"Yes." She said
"I think she my have constipation problems" she said quietly
"What do you mean." She said
"Nervermind" she said
"No what baby?" She asked
"She's eaten three times and hasn't gone to the bathroom" she said
"She's doing it right now." She said
"Oh" she said looking down
"It's okay baby." She smiled
"I better go do my homework" she said
"You can do it down here." She said
"No... I'll do it in my room" she said
"I think the puppies are in there." She said
She nodded
She did her homework in her room
She felt bad about what she said about Fallon
Reba knocked on the door with Fallon
"Uh... Come in" she said
"Hey cutie." She smiled
"I ruined something" she said
"What baby?" She said confused
"I thought I knew what I was talking about... Imm sorry." She said
"Sweetheart you didn't ruin anything I promise." She said
"I just thought I knew what I was taking aboyt@ she sighed
"Honey I just didn't hear you the first time. I knew you were trying to help." She said
"It's just.... I'm going for nursing and delivery doctor.... I just feel like I should know this stuff" she said
"Do you have any Idea how proud I am of you." Reba smiled
She looked up. "Wow, that's a first coming from you." She said
"I'm so proud of you." She said
She nodded
"I love you." She said
"Love you@ she said getting back to her homework
"What class is this for?" She asked
"Chemistry" she said
"Fun." She said sarcastically
"Tell me about it" de said
"Want help?" She asked
She nodded
"Let me see it." She said
"Mommy, it's how babies are made. I'm sure you can tell me how that happens." She few said
"Honey that's biology." She said
"Yeah that's what I meant, this is my biology homework.... So much homework!" She said
"Okay let me help." She said laying Fallon flat in the bed and sat down
"So tell me mom, how did Fallon and Jack get here?" She smirked
"What's the first question." She smirked
"Mommy!" She whined. "Just tell me." She said like a little kid
"Okay. So me and you father had sex and his sperm mixed with my eggs and that's how baby's are made."'she said
"Was it steamy sex?" She asked
"Yes." She said
"Did you do it more than once that night? Did you do it in the shower? Did he hurt you?" She said
"Honey." She said
"Come on! Tell me!" She begged
"Fine but then it's homework talk. Deal?" She said
She smiled and nodded, she wasn't gonna talk about her home work, she only wanted to hear about rebas personal life.
"It was one time in a hotel room and no he didn't hurt me." She said
"How was i conceived?" She asked
"In the cancun house." She said
"Ew!!!! Really!" She said
"You wanted to know and yes." She said
"What about Shelby?" She asked
"In a hotel in cancun." She said
She looked at her. "What you found out you were pregnant with Shelby, how did you find out and what was your reaction?" She asked
"Baby what does this have to do with homework?" She asked
Savannahs smile fell, she looked away and down at her homework. "I don't need you help anymore. I have if figured out. " she said and picked up Fallon from the bed
"No no no I have idea." She said
"No mom. I don't need your help. We're done here." She said
"Savannah I love that your asking questions and they your old enough to talk about this stuff maturely. But the mama in me knows you need to do your homework. So how bout we go back and forth. One question and can be personal and then the next one will be from your homework?" She said
"I said I don't need your help. Don't you have a baby to take care of. To love, to feed. I'm fine, And I don't have time to worry about other things than my homework, i'll just call grandma later and ask her some stuff. You Know why'll your nursing and cleaning the babies. The time when I'm non existent." She said finishing her bio homework
"Savannah I love you more then anything and i know that with the twins I've been pre occupied and I'm sorry. Once they get older things will go back to normal and to answer your question. I was feeling really sick the last couple of days of our honeymoon. I just thought that it was a really bad case of food poising,but two weeks later I was still really sick. So daddy went to the drug stores and bought me a pregnancy test. I took the test and waited. Once I found out I was pregnant I couldn't have been more excited and petrified at the same time." She told her the story
"Savannah?" She said
"I need to be alone right now" she said and walked out to her place under the big oak tree in the back yard she sat down and breathed in, when she breathed out she put her head in her hands.
Reba was confused and followed her
Savannah was sobbing
"Sweetie what's wrong?" She asked
She looked up. "I-...,i found out the truth.@ she cried
"About what baby?" She said
"I heard you and daddy talking the other night with grandma. I'm adopted" she said looking up
"Sweetheart your not adopted." She said shocked
"Daddy told me I was.... I heard you talking about it and I mean, I look nothing like you.@ she daud
"Baby I promise you that if you were adopted you would know by know." She said
She sighed and sniffled. "I feel like I'm adopted. I mean daddy's right. You never spend time with me anymore... And you say when the twins get older you'll be more around me... What when Im in college half way across the country. Yeah that's great" she daud
"Baby your not adopted. I have s birth video to prove it. And meant in a month or two." She said
She just looked away. "Can I go live with aunt Susie till then?@ she asked d
"No honey. I have no idea why your father would say that to you and I will talk to him about that later." She said
"Please mama.... I need attention. And right now, it's all on the babies... Now would you please let me." She said
She shook her head no. "Baby granny and grandma are going to be tomorrow night until sometime in January. They are going to be helping your daddy and I with the babies. You and I are going to be spending a lot more time together." She smiled and took her hands
Savannah pulled away and looked Reba straight in the eye. "I'll believe it. When I see it." She shot
"Honey you have no idea how much I love you." She said
"Well you haven't been acting like it!" She said
"I will never ever stop loving you as much as always have. How about you me watch your birth video tonight if you want to." She said
"You sure?" She asked
"I'm positive." She said
"Did daddy film the video?" She asked
She nodded
Vannah giggled
"I love you." Reba said
"I love you too, Mommy.... Can you tell me the story of your whole pregnancy with me?" She asked
"I would be happy too." She smiled
She curled into Reba and waited for her to start.
"Can we go back inside for." Savannah asked
She nodded and Reba and Vannah went inside, they put the twins down for their afternoon nap and had Narvel come in and tell his side of the story.
"Now let's go back in time to late 1999." Reba said
Savannah smiled. "Begin, imm ready" she smiled
"Well your daddy and were wanting to have a baby for a while but with work and having issues conceiving. We just kinda gave up. Until one time when we were in cancun we had sex and you were made." She said
Savannah curled into Reba. "You were having issues conceiving?" She asked
"Yeah. When we found it I was pregnant again we were over the moon. We were so excited
She smiled big and laid her head on rebas chest. "How did you tell everyone that you were expecting me?" She asked
"We hosted a big family party." She said
"How did Everyone react?" She asked
"They were really happy." She smiled
She smiled big. "Keep going" she said
"You were my easiest pregnancy by far." She smiled
"Really?" She asked
"Oh yeah. Your brother was all new and scary and with the twins. It was brutal but it was all worth it. I didn't throw up with you at all." She said
"No morning sickness! Lucky!" She smiled
She giggled
Vannah smiled
Reba kissed her cheek
"Well the pregnancy part was pretty easy. You would kick all the time and would go crazy for then Shelby would talk to you and or rub my belly." She smiled
"aw!" She smiled big
"He was so excited to be a big brother and to meet you. It was so cute!" She cooed
She smiled big and Bushed. "How about labor with me?" She asked
Narvel chuckled
"What's so funny" Vannah asked clueless
"Remember how in the TV show. I said I was in labor with Kyra for 56 hours?" She asked
She nodded slowly
"That's how long I was labor with you." She said
She looked down. "I'm sorry mommy." She said quietly
"It's okay baby. It was completely worth it." She smiled
"Daddy why did you laugh?" She asked
"Because it was the longest labor and the hardest on all of us." She said
"How long was your delivery?" She asked
"It was five hours." She said
She giggled
"it was all worth it." She said
"So five hours the doctor stared at your woman parts?" She said
"Yeah."'she said
"Was it weird?@ she asked
"At the point I was just ready to get you out. She said
She giggled
Reba hugged her tight
She smiled at her
"I love you." She said
"I love you mommy" she said
Reba smiled
"Can we please watch the video now? And will you walk me through it?" She asked
"Yep!" She said
She popped it in. "Where's it start?" She asked
"I'm not sure." She said
It started and Vannah looked at Reba. "Mommy? What's happening?" She asked
"I think this is before went to the hospital." She said
She watched it. "Mommy? Why are you yelling?" She asked, you could tell she was scared
Reba held her close and tight. "I was in a lot of pain." She said
She kept watching, she held Reba close
Reba rubbed her back
"Mommy? What's happening now?" She asked, she was swaying on the screen
"It would help with the contractions." She said
"Did you know what I was?" She asked
"Yep." She said
"We're you in lots of pain?" She asked
"Yeah." She said
"More pain than with the twins?" She asked
"Nope they were worse." She said
"Double the pain?" She asked
"I think so." She says
They continued to watch the home video
The babies started fussing
They were just getting to the part were Reba was getting told to start to push
"It got them." Narvel said
Reba nodded
"Thais baby." She said
He smiled and went and got two hungry twins
They watched the video
Reba was feeding the baby's on a boppy pillow.
"He's a chubby little boy." Savannah smiled
Savannah grabbed his legs and Reba smiled. "He likes to kick his little chubby legs around, right baby boy?" She smiled caressing his chubby cheek
He giggled
He was so cute!
She kissed his head
He placed a Hand on her chest
Reba smiled
He closed his eyes
Fallon started crying
Reba grabbed her and latched her on
She calmed down and smiled
Reba giggled at her
"Vannah can you burp Jack?" Reba said
Her face lit up and she nodded fastly
Reba smiled and handed him to her
She put on a burp cloth and patted his back
He burped really loud and giggled
Reba laughed at him
"Good job buddy." Savannahs smiled
"He's ready for a diaper change, narvel I think it's your turn" she smirked
"Come here little boy." He said
Reba knew how he reacted
"This going to be so gross." He said
"It sure is, make sure you wipe him good" she said
He grimace and nodded
Reba laughed at him
Narval changed him
He was screaming his lungs off
"It's okay buddy." He said
He just kept screaming which made him more pissed
Savannah went to go help her daddy
He had given up at this point
"I got him." She said
He nodded and handed the naked baby over, he calmed down instantly in her arms
"Let find you a cute outfit." She said
He giggled cutely
Savannah smiled
He didn't have a diaper on and he started peeing all over her
"Oh gross!" She grimaced
He giggled and kept peeing
She laid him on the changing table. She was soaked
He was laughing at her
"Ugh!" She said
He giggled and kicked his legs
She was so grossed out
She got him changed and Reba was burping Fallon
"Can someone take so I can shower?" She asked
"Wow loose the bitchy attitude missy." She said sternly
"He just peed all over me." She said
"Savannah. So what?! He does that all the time! You and Shelby and even Fallon do that!" She said
"Sorry, but ca one of you take him please?" She asked
Narvel took him and he started screaming
Reba starts singing and he calms down
He reached for her
They switched babies
Fallon had fallen asleep
Narvel put her in her swing
Jack was so cute
"hi little man!" Reba smiled
He giggled cutely
Reba and Narvel smiled
He looked up at her, he was beautiful
"Hi handsome." She smiled
He giggled and kicked his legs
She giggled
