PROLOUGE
My name is Ariel. I was 14 that summer. Height about 5'2. Hair is reddish-brown and about breast length. Matt's (My Bestfriend) family brought me to Wildwood with them. Who ever thought this would happen?
7.1.12 DAY 1
The first day there was pretty fun. We left Matt's (my bestfriend) house 12:30 p.m. As we drove, the GPS wouldn't shut up, and it was giving us false directions. However, Matt's dad knew exactly where we were going. Finally, we hit Wildwood; Wildwood Crest to be exact. We stopped by a produce store first. Matt's dad went in and bought some things including Watermelon and Corn, my favorites. We got to our hotel finally; The Paradise Inn. As we entered the office, (I remember Matt had to pee) we got the keys to our room; Room 104. Maui. Pool-side. 1st floor. We arrived at the hotel at about 2:30. We got into the room and Matt rushed to the bathroom. After Matt relieved himself, I got dressed, and we headed toward the pool. We loved the pool. As Matt and I were having fun in the pool, many boys passed by 2 of which caught my eye. I didn't know their names yet, but I hoped that one day I did. After the pool became boring, Matt and I headed toward thw ocean, which was right in back of our hotel. Again in the ocean I saw these boys. I told Matt about them, and I described them as "the boy that's really tan with braces" and "the boy with the big nose". I must admit "the boy that's really tan with braces" caught my eye the most. Everytime we saw them, Matt would say "Ariel! Look at your boys!"
Later that night, we saw them again heading toward the beach with a big spotlight, flashlights, and more people. All boys of all ages! Still only those 2 interested me. They were heading toward the beach, so I decided to make concersation from the second deck.
"Cool lights!' I shouted.
"What?!" shouted "the boy that's really tan with braces"
"Cool lights, bro!" Matt shouted.
"Thanks," he said.
Me & Matt decided we woild like to male friends while they were on the beach. We decided that when they came back, I would make the first move by asking them to come up, and Matt would do the talking. They headed back toward the hotel, and I knew this was time for me to make my move. "Hey!" I shouted. No one looked. "Hey, you guys?" I said. Only one person looked up, and I didn't really notice. "Hey. Come up here" I saw the younger boy call his brothers to come upon the second deck. I ran back to my seat with Matt. "I think they might come up here," I said with a quiver in my voice. I was nervous!
I saw "the boy that's really tan with braces" head up the steps, and he said "There isn't even anyone up h-" He saw us. Matt told them to come up and chill with us. There was an everlasting line of boys walking up the steps. There was 5 of them. All different ages! We chatted for a little, and we found out their names and ages. (Oldest to Youngest). Jack, 16 turning 17 on the 5th (stepbrother). Dylan, 16. Zac, 14. Alex, 12. Robert, 10. (stepbrother). (We also found out they had 2 younger brothers which were in bed at the time, Nikki, 7 and Pauly, 6). Of course how me and Matt are, we made up names of our own to call them. We kept Jack as Jack. We named Dylan 'Fred' because he looked like Fred Figgelhorn. We kept Zac as Zac. We named Alex 'Cameron'. We named Robert 'Finn'. Jack had brown/orangish hair with blue eyes. He had a fit body, and he was a little taller than me. Dylan aka 'Fred' had semi-long hair; light brown was the color. He had brown eyes. He was fit and taller than me by like an inch. Zac was fit, blonde hair, blue eyes, and taller than me. Alex had brown spiky hair and brown eyes. He was shorter than me. Robert had orange hair and bright blue eyes. He was shorter than me also.
I was thrilled that I found out the boys' names that I once hoped I would know. "The boy that's really tan with braces" was Zac. The 14 year old built blondie. "The boy with the big nose" was Dylan the 16 year old semi-longhaired cuttie.
I liked Zac a lot a first. I actually caught him staring at me a few times. I actually wasn't conserned about Dylan at that time. I was focused on Zac until it seemed like he was hiding something. All of his brothers basically put him on blast about how he thought I was cute, but he had a girlfriend. If I would have never knew he had a girlfriend, I think things would have happened with him. Later that night, before they went in, I started to not like his personality. It seemed to be an 'I hate the world' personality. Dylan, however, seemed like he loved the world and was very a fun-loving person. After that night, I didn't really know which one I liked more, but it shouldn't have have mattered because I had my boyfriend, Drew, back home.
