17 and pregnant

Chapter 1

"Maya, you're 8 weeks pregnant sweetie"

Doctor Leah handed me the pregnancy results.

I looked over to my mom, she looked shocked and upset.

"Doc, are you sure?" I asked

"Yeah if you want we can look at your baby right now"

"No I don't want to see that thing" I said and jumped off the bed and went to the bathroom. I cried while changing my clothes.

I walked out the bathroom and my mom was sitting in the waiting room.

When she seen me she got up and walked out the door and I followed.

In the car it was I knew she was upset.

"Mom... I-I only had sex once"

She didn't say anything else.

"I believe you Maya but how could you be so stupid"

"I don't know, I don't know"

"Anyways who is the boy?"

"He's nobody"

"Maya Rene wright if you don't tell me who"

"Mom I will tell you later he's not important"

She didn't say anything else after that. When we arrive to our house we got out the car without talking.

5 weeks later.

It's the first day after Christmas break and I'm 15 weeks pregnant and nobody but my mom knows.

It was 5:55 am and I was getting out the shower and looked down and seen a little bump. I heard the door open and my sister was standing at the door. I tried to cover my stomach but I think she seen it because she was staring at my stomach.

"Maya are you pregnant?"

"No" I said and walked out the bathroom. I went to my room and put on a tank top and tied a plaid shirt around my waist and some skinny jeans with timberlands.

I walked downstairs and my mom was cooking breakfast. We haven't spoken to each other since my doctor's appointment. I just want to avoid her.

I grabbed my north face and walked out the door. I would give my sister Morgan a ride but I don't want to.

When I got to school people start staring at me. I walked to my locker and felt someone grab my arm. I turned around and it was Drew.

I rolled my eyes and turned back around to my locker.

"Maya I have to talk to you"

"About"

"That" he put his hand on my stomach.

"My stomach?"

"Yea its not flat anymore"

"I ate a lot over break but you shouldn't worry about me"

"Maya-

"Drew leave me alone" I shut my locker and walked away.

I walked in my first period and seen my bestie crystal. She walked up to me.

"Maya please don't tell me your pregnant"

"Yes I'm pregnant damn"

"Oh my gosh you did you have sex with"

"I can't tell you"

"Maya"

"What its not important, it's not like I'm keep this baby"
