It feels like deja vu. I couldn't help but stare at the window. The others finished and started talking for the rest of the few remaining minutes. Mr. Albert asked all of us to leave, now that we were all done.

Mr. Albert told us that our Science instructor would be showing our results next week. Amelia thanked me for working with her.

I met up with Anthony at the cafeteria. He seemed so alone. "Where's Justin?" I asked. "He's probably with Lucinda. I think he told me that they would be studying for the division competition." He replied like he was in a bad mood.

"Are you okay?" I said as we sat down together at the nearest table.

6:28 PM, Summer's House

Class dismissed a few hours ago and I only got about two hours to prepare.

Struggling, I was desperately trying to wear the clothes I brought from home. Anthony and I went to Summer's to help me out but I kinda regret taking advice from a girl who doesn't even have passion for fashion.

" ...I'm not sure this is what and how I'm supposed to wear it."

It was a black tee with a skull on it. A date. Summer thinks dates are like rock band concerts. She has obviously no idea what she's doing.

"Relax...I'm sure you'll do great... Yup."

"This. Is. A. Disaster."

She threw her phone at me.

"Just call Julia over then... 'cause she has 'more passion for fashion'... " she said with a mocking tone.

I typed in Julia's phone number and dialed her. Looking at the time, I only got about an hour and a half  left. The phone was ringing and Julia answered.

"...Hey Summer. What's up?"

"Hey Julia, it's me Connor. Listen, You gotta get here. I need you."

"I'll be there as soon as possible."

"Thanks."

Julia came about a few minutes before I called. She asked what the matter was, then she decided to take matters in her own hands.

"...She's probably wearing either formal or casual. So you better wear formal 'cause girls like guys who look really fancy during dates."

"Not me." Summer said as she was checking her e-mail.

Julia looked into the clothes I got. She gave me a disgusted look on her face.

"Are you serious about this date? You look like you're going to a circus full of hooligans." She sighed. "We still got an hour left. We should be able to get to your house. "

"Do we have to?" Summer moaning.

"Come on. I'll go grab my keys."

Summer was wondering, "Keys? Since when did you ever got a car? You don't even know how to drive!"

I replied, " -to the house."

...............

We arrived within a few minutes. The door was locked. Holly must have went to her friends and left without saying. She always does that. It's a good thing I have my own keys. I unlocked the door and saw a pitch black room.

"And...she forgot to turn the lights on."

Summer immediately jumped into the couch and turned the TV on. Julia and I continued to my dresser. We eventually found a nice attire. There were actually two choices I had to make. Julia showed me a polo shirt and a long sleeved polo.

I ended up choosing my peach long sleeve polo. It came with a bowtie and everything. I looked at my watch that came with the outfit. My eyes widened. I only got 30 minutes left.

I ran to the door and took my phone. I left without saying anything. Obviously the two of them are just gonna trash my house. I placed my phone at the back of my pocket but when I did, I realized I forgot to bring my wallet. When I turned around, Julia threw my wallet.

"How did you...?"  I asked wondering.

"I told you, I know everything." She said as she closed the door.

I took a cab. Luckily it was just around the corner.

"Take me to Hímálá please." I said as I went into the cab.

The clouds were getting darker. The moon wasn't as visible from what I saw back home. It was slightly raining. I stared at the window it had little drops of rain.

I came to a thought, why would she ask ME on a date? Of all guys in class, why me? A LOT of guys have a crush on her. Believe me.

She's like a Jeepney. I had a cousin in the Philippines and he told me, when there are people having an adoration to the same person, they're like riding a Jeepney. 'Cause even though all of us guys are stuck together in Amelia's heart, I will ride it no matter what happens.

.................

Hímálá, 8:29 PM

It was cold. The rain got a little stronger. I didn't bring a sweater or a jacket. I saw someone familiar from the back. He had his hair up. I think it was Justin. He must be waiting for me.

(Vibrate sound)

I got a text. I remember memories every time my phone vibrates. I always put my phone on silent because the vibrating sound is actually LOUDER than a regular ring tone. I guess I never bothered to change it.

The text was from Justin. He asked me if I was already here. I creeped up to him and scared him.

Oh no...

It wasn't Justin...

I was so embarrassed at doing that to someone who looked EXACTLY like Justin. I really don't feel the miracle in this place. So I decided to go outside and reply Justin.

Where the heck are you?
I'm already here.
What's taking so long?
Is there something wrong?
Call me after you get this.

Justin didn't reply after that. So I waited for Amelia to show up. Minutes passed by and I don't think this place is gonna stay up till 9:45.

"What's taking them so long?"

I was suffering in the cold, alone. Fear was everywhere. I felt something–something that wasn't right. My phone vibrated. I thought I got a message but my phone shut off. I actually forgot to charge my phone. Summer must have used it while I was changing.

...

Dammit.
