Everyone knows what lucaya is , students teachers and even parents and they can't wait for it to happen. At john Quincy high there is an unspoken rule,everyone knows not to hit on maya because most likely Lucas will beat up up or a least threatened you and if you hit on lucas weird things with start to happen to you.Lucas and maya like each other act like a couple but aren't a couple. So when Annie a new who just moved from Nevada she are hella confused.
Annie's POV
A new school ,wow am i nervous. I turn to find my class and my hearts drops. I see a guy at least 5'9 with dirty blonde hair and a body ugh how do i describe his body , basically he is a human god. I smile at him as just as i think he would smile back a small blonde girl jumps on his back. I would think he would be annoyed or mad but he just has a huge smile on his face like he knows who it is. I know it is creepy but i listen to there conversation it goes like this,
"Guess who" the small girl saids the boy has a smirk on his face as he said "hmm jenna" the girl rolls her eyes and saids "guess again" he saids "maya" "yep" the girl replies backs "would you get off me" the guy saids maya holds on tighter "maya" the boy whines "lucas" the girl saids in the same tone. lucas asks "why" and maya replies with "just to annoy you" the boy groans and with a smirk getting on his face he saids "well your not that heavy being a short stack of pancakes and all". The bell rings and you would think maya would get off but she doesn't Lucas walks to class with her on his back like it is normal. I walk to my class which happens to be theirs too it's history with Mr. Matthews . When i walk in i see that Lucas sets maya down at her desk, Mr Matthews sees me and saids "new students" i said "yes" and he saids "take a seat" i sit behind a guy in dark clothes.
Class begins and Mr Matthews talks about relationships. Then next thing he saids is stand if you are in a boyfriend girlfriend relationship. I think that maya and Lucas will stand ,who can blame me , with the interaction between them in the hall and i see that maya's is on lucas desk and l see the way Lucas looks at maya i mean who couldn't. But they don't stand just a tall blonde girl and short but cute boy and three other people, i am so confused. Next Mr Matthews saids if you are in a friendship everyone stands including me good mr Matthews saids "sit down". After the lesson is finish the bell rings i head to lunch. While I am in line i see maya and Lucas again, i know its creepy but i watch them it goes like this "lucas" maya whines "what" he saids a grin pulling on his face "you know what" "ok" he saids maya goes to get fry off his plate but he swats her hand away she gives him a look he smirks and saids "if you want a fry i have to feed it to you" maya raises a eyebrow but nods lucas then feeds her some fries.I look away confused, they act like a couple but their not. I guess my confusion shows because when i look a the lunch lady she has a knowing look on her face she saids "confused sweetie " i am stunned so i just nod "maya and Lucas are not a couple. ....yet" . I think i still have a confused look on my face because she continues "sure they act like one and they like each other but they don't want to hurt their friendship but if you ask me i think they will make it to the long run". Then she tells me the unspoken rule every teen here knows. I sit down and i see them laughing together and i don't think it's going to be long before they get together.
