V19) -Damien's POV; after he punches the guy in the face-

My dad held me back before I could hit the guy anymore. "You have to keep calm. Don't make it any worse for, Rose." My dad whispered in my ear as I watched them cut Rose's collar off and take her out of the door with sad eyes. My dad let me go once they all left and I bent down and picked up the collar. "What do I have to do to get Rose back?" I asked my dad as I stood up. "I'm not sure." My dad said deep in thought. "You have to know, dad. You're the King for gods sake! Please dad, I can't stand by and do nothing. She's facing death if she goes to trial. Tell me what I have to do." I begged him. He looked at me and said, "You need to give them an ultimatum that can basically crumble all the parliaments progress they've had until now." Before he even finished, I was running up the stairs and shouted a "Thanks dad!" Once I got in my room, I quickly grabbed my keys and my cell phone. I ran out to my car and started the engine and quickly pulled out of my driveway. I pressed on the accelerator once I got on the road. I pulled out my cell phone and quickly dialed Mark's number as I swerved in and out of traffic going 160mph. I called him and once he answered I said, "Mark, this is serious. We've been best friends since we were babies and you're the only one who I can ask for help." "I've never heard you this serious before so of course I'll help you. What's wrong, dude?" Mark asked me. "They took Rose and she's going to be put on trial, depending if they let her live before the trial even happens. I need your help though. What I'm about to ask you to help me with can cause a major war and we can possibly die, but I'm going to rebel against the parliament. I need you to call all the vampires you know that will help us and tell Lauren and Sarah to call all the werewolves they know." I told him in the phone. "Alright, I'll do that right now. How do you know the werewolves will help though?" Mark asked me. "I don't know, but that's where I'm going right now to find out. Meet me outside of the parliament building by the afternoon though." I told him, then I hung up the phone. I gripped the steering wheel tightly as I drove towards Derek's house.

-Meanwhile: Rose's POV-

I shook my head as I forced myself to stay awake. My back was bleeding a lot from what I could tell. Stacey came in here about three times already to hit me with the whip and sometimes she'd electrocute me until she got bored. I never let out a scream or a whimper through it all though. I felt like the only reason she was doing this was to get the satisfaction of hearing me cry out in pain and beg for her to stop. I wasn't going to give her any of that. I heard the metal door open and heard a pair of heels walking towards me. Stacey stood in front of me with a smirk on her face. She grabbed my face and said, "I'm surprised you're still alive. You lost a lot of blood though, so you might not be alive for long. I guess I doubted the will of pathetic little humans." I spit in her face and said, "The only thing that's pathetic here is you. Damien is never going to love a crazy bitch like you and you just hate the fact that he loves me. I can see the jealousy in your eyes. I'm never going to give you the satisfaction of hearing me beg for my life. I'll die before that happens." She wiped the spit off her face and said, "Then lets make it so you'll die faster." I heard her grab something that was metal and I felt her cut my skin.
