"Sidney, please. Please wake up," I heard a familiar masculine voice.

I tried to open my eyes, but they were too heavy. With a little force, they slowly opened to see a very familiar face.

"Oh thank god. I thought I lost you," he said planting a soft kiss on my forehead.

"You know you could never lose me, Cole," I said gently stroking his face.

"I know, but I was scared," he admitted with eyes filled with sorrow.

"Hey, Cole, it wsn't your fault, so don't you dare think that," I said with a tear rolling down my cheek.

He slowly lifted his head to look deeply into my eyes. "But you don't understand, Sid. It was my fault. I was driving you weren't. You didn't hit that tree that should've killed the person that means the world to you. The person who gives you the reason to live. The one person you would give your life for."

"Cole, p-please," my voice cracked as tears began to roll endlessly down my cheeks. "Listen to me."

"You have no idea how torn up I've been ever since that night, Sidney. I couldn't leave your side," he whispered.

"Michael Cole Blair. Shut up right now. It wasn't your fault. You can't take all the blame. It was partly my fault too. Actually, it was all my fault. We were arguing because of me. I started it. I brought up Lexi because I was jealous, okay? There I said it. I was jealous. Now will you shut up about it?" I blurted pressing a soft, feathery, white pillow over my head.

Cole let out a sigh before he replied, "Baby, you don't need to be jealous of her. She's not the one I want to spend the rest of my life with. Furthermore," he paused removing the pillow and looking into my eyes, "she isn't you."

"She could be," I muttered.

"What?" he asked raising an eyebrow in confusion.

"I didn't know that at the time. I guess you don't tell me how important I am to you enough," I smirked.

"Are you serious?" he asked laughing.

"What's so funny?"

"Sidney May Cross, you are just like your brother," Cole said smiling.

I groaned, "Please don't say that."

"Sorry, Babe, but it's true," he commented as the door opened.

"What's true?" the devil himself asked with a grin on his face.

"Well I was just telling Sid here how much she is like you," Cole said as I let go of his hand and crossed my arms.

"God no," Steven said groaning, "Squid, why?"

"I hope you're not talking to me," I glared at Steven.

"Yes, Squid, I'm talking to you. Did the accident make you forget you're suiting nickname?" he asked looking devastated putting his hand over his heart.

"Why are you even here. I'm sure you'd rather be anywhere else."

"I can't believe you would think that. You know I love you, sis," Steven said smiling taking a seat.

I rolled my eyes at him, "When can I leave?"

"Whenever you get your ass out of that bed and walk out the door." Steven remarked.

"Don't be a smart ass because you didn't get to skip school like I did, and get to get away from you," I smirked.

"Sid," Cole said, "want me to go get the doctor? She probably needs to know you're awake."

"Sure, leave me here with that," I said motioning to Steven.

"It won't be that bad. I won't take long I promise," Cole said kissing me sweetly on the lips.

I considered deepening the kiss, but I quickly decided not to for Steven's sake.
