Life's not fair; this I know
All too well. At school, I worry
About navigating the halls, and
Taking my meds. And meanwhile,
The girls next to me complain about their jobs,
Waking up early, relationships, and

About the type of shoes I wear! What I'd give,
To be capable of getting a job.
Or to have enough energy to wake up early
And still last an entire school day. Yes, I agree:
Life's not fair. We all
Hate to hear these words,
Yet they are the truest.
Trust me.
I know it better than most.
