Never Let Me Go

Chapter 1

Today was the day that me and my brother were going to move in with my aunt Melissa and our cousin Becca.

Though our parents died and the funeral was two days ago, I can't let that bring me down.

I'm gonna keep a low profile at this school for senior year and then move on with life.

My aunt Melissa insisted on taking me and Charles clothes shopping so I decided I could use a couple new outfits for the first day of senior year.

I got 24 shirts, 11 jeans, and 5 new pairs of shoes. I know I know it's a lot of stuff but some stuff I got with my money that I had saved up from my job back in New York.

California is so different compared to New York.

California is know for beaches, and New York is known for the busy streets.

Today is my first day at Bay Shores high school and I'm wearing a mint tank top with a bow near the top with Ruffles coming  down, white skinny jeans, brown sandals, and pearl earrings.

I get to school and I immediately point out where everyone's stands with friends.

I see the Barbie dolls, the girls who wear way too much makeup and feed on the guys attentions.

The bad boys, the guys who play girls like their video games.

But I'm not gonna get involved with them this year. I just miss my best friend Margaret back in New York.

While I'm walking I suddenly bump into a hard chest.

" Sorry" I finally spit out.

I heard someone chuckle and I look up to a grinning hunk. " Yeah you better be."

" What's that supposed to mean?" "It means you need to watch out where you're going. I'm Ash by the way."
" Whatever, I'm Charlotte. Now if you'll excuse me I have a life to get back to."

I hear a chuckle but I went to my first class.

So much for keeping a low profile.

I went on with my day and got home picking my outfit for the next day.

Ending the day with sleep.
