Charlie The Dog

One day in debate class Lisa comes in and stands behind the podium, when Jeff comes in and says "Lisa, what are you doing? You're in my spot." And Lisa replies "no, no, today this is my spot, you can have it tomorrow. "Ok, fine" says Jeff.
The next day in debate class Lisa comes in and stands behind the podium when Jeff comes in and says "Lisa what are you doing? You are in my spot again and you said I could have it today." So Lisa replies "Do you like hot cocoa?" And Jeff gives her this funny look and says only with marshmallows." "Oh great" Lisa replied "I know this great hot cocoa place" and she gave him directions
So that same night Jeff drove off to the hot cocoa place following Lisa's directions. Little did he know they were directions to Lisa's house, until he found himself in a friendly little neighborhood and saw Lisa at the end of a driveway looking like she was waiting for someone. So he pulled up, very confused, and rolled down his window as Lisa walked up to his car. "Yo Lisa, what is going on this isn't a hot cocoa place, this is your house, isn't it? What are you playing at I already have a girlfriend. Said Jeff. "I know, I know, I was just hoping you would bring Jordan" explained Lisa nervously. Jeff looked at Lisa for a few seconds and then he decided to ignore the oddness of the request. Lisa was a good girl, he didn't know her very well but he figured he could help her out. Someone who could trick him into going to a fake hot cocoa place must be cool. So he said "Lisa if you wanted Jordan along, surely you didn't want me to come with too. Tell you what; I'll get Jordan over here for you. You've been through enough." "Oh Jeff, you really mean it?" Lisa Exclaimed with excitement.
As Jeff left Lisa's house he couldn't help but smile to himself. He was going to use the same hot cocoa trick that Lisa had pulled on him, just to get back at her a little bit. As lisa watched Jeff drive away she got really excited, Jordan was going to be at her house soon, JORDAN. She was not wearing the proper attire to hang out with Jordan. Lisa turned back to her house to change and tidy up a bit more. Lisa had already spent an hour and a half getting ready before Jeff came but everyone knows that you can never be too ready. But before Lisa could get to her house, out of the corner of her eye she saw a dog walking down the street. He was really cute and lonely. So she yelled "Here puppy." And to her surprise the dog came over to her just as if it were her own puppy. She started to scratch him behind the ear when she noticed a tag around his neck. Lisa read the tag, Charlie was all it said. Lisa knew this dog, he use to come around when she was a kid. Charlie had not come to her house in a very long time, Lisa thought to herself, he must be 15 years old. But he didn't look that old, oh well.
A car came around the corner, Lisa looked up and saw the driver, it was Jordan. Dang it Lisa thought to herself, she didn't change, Charlie was distracting her, too late now I guess.
Hey, Lisa, is that you?" Jordan yelled from the car. "Yeah, it's me" Lisa replied. You know where the hot cocoa place is?" Jordan asked, "Jeff told me about this great hot cocoa place, but I must have gotten his directions mixed up, do you live here?" "Do you like hot cocoa?" Lisa asked."Yes I love it, but only with marshmallows, that is why I was going to the hot cocoa place, they have a special on marshmallows tonight, can you tell me how to get there?"
"Yeah I know where it is" said Lisa thinking that it was a good thing that there really was a hot cocoa place with a marshmallow special near her house. The thing was that the special wasn't only tonight, it was every night, hopefully Jordan wouldn't notice that. "Lisa, how about you hop into the car and we can go together since you don't seem to be doing anything." "Um, ok, I was about to write my debate, but that can wait." Said Lisa trying to sound casual. "Sweet hop in and bring your dog too, I love dogs" said Jordan.
So Lisa hopped into Jordan's car and directed them to the hot cocoa place for their hot cocoa with marshmallows. When they got to the hot cocoa place they saw a sign on the front door saying "No Dogs Allowed. This must be new thought Lisa for she use to love to bring dogs here. Jordan and Lisa went inside and found a nice little table by a window so they could watch Charlie in the car. As Lisa and Jordan waited for someone to take their order they chatted a little about dogs and hot cocoa, but not together. Finally someone came by and it was Mario. Lisa didn't know Mario worked at the hot cocoa place, but then again she had not been there in a while. Lisa and Jordan both ordered hot cocoa and requested extra marshmallows. When Mario returned with their drinks there were no marshmallows. What a bummer. "Excuse me Mario, we both ordered extra marshmallows and you didn't give us any" said Lisa politely to Mario. "No you said hold the marshmallows" Mario replied rudely. "Well we ordered them, could you please find us some" said Jordan this time. "Ok fine picky" said Mario in a not nice voice. As Mario was off getting their marshmallows Lisa and Jordan talked about school. Mario finally returned with a bag of marshmallows. Lisa and Jordan were really excited to see the bag of marshmallows. They both ate one but spat them out right away, they were stale. "Ewe Mario you gave us stale marshmallows" said Jordan, "Go get us some good ones" "No, I don't think I will" Mario said as he marched off.
"Well then" said Lisa in her annoyed at someone voice, "We will just have to get our own marshmallows. I know a place with better marshmallows anyhow, goodbye Mario see you Monday when I beat you in debate." And Lisa and Jordan marched off. Back in the car Jordan congratulated Lisa on the dramatic exit Charlie was so happy to be reunited with them he gave them lots of kisses. Jordan asked where they were going. Lisa thought they should go to her friend Alicia's house because her camp name was marshmallow so she must have good marshmallows. Lisa directed Jordan to Alicia's house. On the way they saw Chris walking down the sidewalk Jordan slowed down the car and rolled the window down. "Hey guys" Chris said
"Want to see my new tattoos". Chris pulled up one pants leg and underneath it was the word "Hi" he pulled up the other one and it said "Bye" and that was the end of Chris.
Jordan and Lisa made it to Alicia's house and walked up to the door, Lisa knocked. Tony answered the door and the moment he saw Lisa he hit her on the head. "Ouch!" yelled Lisa. "What did you do that for?" she asked. Tony looked at her with his big "I'm tony the great look and said "Duh, I was trying to hit the smart out of you and get it into me." Lisa and Jordan thought that was the dumbest thing ever but they really wanted marshmallows so they ignored it. "Tony, where is Alicia?" asked Lisa. "Umm... I don't know, not here" said Tony stupidly. Then Rachel came around the corner. "Hey guys what are you doing?" And before Lisa or Jordan could say anything Charlie started growling at her and she jumped back and Tony jumped forward to protect her and the next thing they Knew Charlie cornered them. Lisa and Jordan left to find their marshmallows. "You know Lisa" Jordan said, "Your fun to hang out with, how about we just go to the grocery store and buy some marshmallows. Then tomorrow I can come around about the same time and we can go see a movie and eat them." Lisa could not believe her ears Jordan likes her and wants to hang out. "Yeah ok sounds good."
Jordan drove Lisa home and Lisa was so excited that she forgot her debate. But that was ok because it was Friday night and it wasn't due until Monday and she was always ahead in her studies.
