I yawn and stretch, feeling fully rested. The mid-day sun peeks through my bedroom window. I grin, turning over to see if Cato is awake. My grin instantly disappears when I see his side of the bed hasn't been slept in. I remember last night and sigh.

I slowly sit up and slide off the high canopy bed. My toes curl on the light blue carpet. It's soft and incredibly fuzzy. I glance around the room. It's pretty plain for a Capital room. It has one bedroom and two bathrooms, all with blue-like-the-sea themes. The dining room, which is joined with the living room, has oak tables placed in it. The one in the living room is for decortation while the one located in the dining room is for eating. Over the dinner table is a three tiered crystal chandelier. Anila has a similar one in her house, except hers is white while the one here changes colors randomly. The living room has a large grey-stoned fireplace, around which sit blood-red straight-backed leather couches and black leather chairs. The whole floor of the living room and dining room feels hard like wood, yet it is cold and black like marble. I step onto this floor as I exit my room, shivering briefly as my warm feet adjust to the coldness below them. I walk into the kitchen. This has a pink girly theme. The floor is pale tiles backed by hot pink tiles. The cabinets by the peachy-pink sink consist of matching peachy-pink wood with ivory knobs. The countertops, as well as the walls, are a soft baby pink. I hate this room.

I reach up and grab a bowl for cereal, before beginning to eat breakfast in silence. I'm the only one here. I finish quickly and head into my room to change for the day. I put on a loose yellow shirt. Its cute, but it's an exta-large sadly. Its the only shirt size I can wear because of my belly. I feel it move, looking down and smiling. I still have him, or her, and I know that will make me smile. Because I have life growing inside of me. Something I consider a privilege to have because I have taken many lives in my past.

I slip some grey jeans on before I hear a knock on the front door. I walk over and open it to see Haloway Steel standig. His whiskers twitch as he smiles. He's wearing a sparkly gold suit-jacket and blue suede shoes along with neon green pants, with what looks like feathers along the side. He grins, his feline features rising higher on his face. "Hi Clove!" Steel says in his deep voice. I grin. His ridiculous outfit and supremely cheerful voice have cheered me up momenterily. "Hello Steel." I respond. He waves a hand like he's trying to shoo a fly away from his face as he tells me, "No no, Please call me Halozay. No need for formalities." I giggle saying, "Alright then." Halozay extends a hand to me, asking, "Are you ready for the meeting?" I grab a banana, close and lock the door, and accept Hallozay's hand saying, "I am now." He puts my hand on his arm and we walk to the meeting. We take the long way walking through the Capital streets to the headquarters of Rebel Seekers and Removers, or as we call it, RSR. On the way I learn about Halozay's simple life. He is married and has two young boys, one three, one five. He also has a younger sister and brother. When I ask who they are, I don't recognise the girl's name but the brother turns out to be none other than Seneca Crane, the Head Gamemaker. "But you have different last names," I say confused. Halozay grins, his gold eyes sparkling as he tells me, "Oh that! Well my mother had Seneca before her former husband was killed. I think he was on a ship in District Four and it sunk. So she remarried and had me and my sister Delancy." I nod understanding. But before he can tell me any more about his life, Halozay looks up to see a massive metalic building. "Oh, we're here!" He cheerfully calls out. He leads me out of the hot sun and into the, thankfully, cooler building. Halozay steers me towards an elevator, in which only a minute passes before we find the doors re-opening to let us onto the five-hundredth and fourteenth floor. We walk out of the elevator and into a room full of people standing around a small oval shaped table. At the head of the tabel sits President Snow. Cato told me that he oversaw everything the RSR did. To his left is Doad Jefengs dressed in a baby blue suit and black bow-tie. A man with blue hair stands next to Jefengs. This man has metallic looking skin, so silver and shiny that it has to be fake. Only surgery could properly add the metal plates, who knows, maybe that's what he did. His eyes are grey, also metal-looking. Sort of like the ancient figures that were called robots. And finally, beside his is a woman who could pass for a fox with her orange hair and eyes, foxy nose and ears, and white slender dress that looks like a suit piece. The dress matches her white arm-length gloves.
