Why do angels cry?
What do they see within their eyes?
Is it the heartbeat of a newborn baby?
Is it the death of an older lady?
Where do they go when they need peace?
Back up to heavens beautiful streets?
How many times have they fought for you?
Once? Twice? Maybe a few?
Do they cry when you fall for the girl?
Feeling your love caught up in the whirl?
Do they hurt when you feel pain?
Holding you so close, their robes are blood stained.
Can they see you next fault and love you still?
Would they love you through your evil will?
Do they pick you up when you have fallen down?
Do they cry when you don't see them around?
So why do angels cry?
Because of her, him, and I?
They see your pain and absorb it all
Keeping you going so you won't fall.
