CHAPTER TEN
They laid together and cuddled for what seemed like hours. Beverly felt so safe in his arms. She never wanted him to let her go, but she knew nothing lasted forever. She would enjoy the time she had with him, while she had breath in her body. He caressed her back, and stroked her hair. His rock hard body collided with hers, as they lay in his huge bed enjoying each other. She looked up at him and he kissed her forehead. "I could really get used to this beautiful", he said; casually. She smiled at him, feeling at ease. "I could too, it's been so long since I have had this kind of connection with anyone", she said; freely. She felt comfortable in his presence and she felt like she could be herself, aside from her dark past, but she wasn't going to let that stop her from being happy. She loved the feeling she had at that moment and wanted to savor it for as long as she could. "So, when do you leave?" she asked; politely. "Well, I leave tomorrow, for Albuquerque, I'm not sure when I'll be back, but it shouldn't be longer than a week, I hope", he said; while making a little sad face. She didn't want to be nosy, but she really wanted to know why the hell he was going all the way to New Mexico, was he opening up a new gym or something? He must have read her mind, because right at that moment he spoke. "I'm going on business, just some lose ends I need to tie up is all"; he said. "She laughed inside and pulled him closer to her. She didn't need to know anymore. Besides, she was already consumed with her own crap. The break-in's, Teddy's disappearance, not to mention the fact that she had a feeling that the world around her was about to crumble with this unknown stranger paying her bill at the hotel, and just the thought of Brian finding out about her past.
She had a rough life and wasn't about to let that affect her future. She left her past behind a long time ago, and the demons that were resurfacing she was gonna face head on, because it was the only way she could move on and be happy in life, whether Brian was in it or not. Brian hopped up, with his strong black muscular naked body and she watched him stretch. He leaned in and kissed hr forehead again. She lay there with her head rested on her hand, watching him. "Would you like to join me in the shower?" he asked; enticingly. "I would love to", she responded quickly, as he extended his hand. She grabbed it, and he carefully pulled her up to him and carried her to the huge bathroom connected to his master suite. As he carefully placed her on her feet, he turned on the shower, and pulled her in slowly, kissing her neck and squeezing her round plump ass. His manhood stood erect and she could feel her body warming. She tingled all over, and she waited for him to take her again. He pulled her close sucking her nipples softly and she clung to his back and caressed every inch of him. He mounted her against the wall as the water ran down her face, and then he finally gave her what she was longing for. As he entered her softness, she let out little noises, letting him know, she was feeling nothing but pleasure. His thrusts became stronger, and she moaned with pleasure, kissing his lips, as he held her up against the shower wall. He slowly, put her down, and as she faced the shower wall he took her from behind raising her arms and rubbing every inch of her. She groaned with satisfaction as he did too. The shower steam danced in the air, and they were like one. She felt like she was the only woman on the planet and she didn't want him to stop. As he began to get closer to climax, she screamed as she reached her point, and almost simultaneously they came together. She could feel his breath on the back of her neck, and he would feel her heart beating a mile a minute. They stood there for minute as he tried to catch his breath, and they just held each other as the shower water ran over both of their naked bodies.
Before you know it, Beverly was dressed and getting ready to leave Brian's house. He was all ready to leave for the airport for Albuquerque. He hugged and kissed her. "I will be back as soon as I can beautiful, not sure I can be away from you for more than a week". He put his luggage inside of the trunk of his car and pulled her into another hug. "Well, I hope you are able to finish your business and you're back soon", she said; softly. She didn't want him to leave, and she didn't press him for anymore information, but she kind of got the feeling that it was more than he was saying. She was good like that, she could peg someone in a heartbeat and she was a good judge of character, but it didn't matter, she was hiding things too, things she hoped he would never have to find out about. As she watched Brian drive off his shiny black BMW X6, she smiled and waived as she walked to her truck. She looked at her phone and saw all the missed calls she had. Vanessa, Amanda, a couple of clients and her lawyer. She text-ed Vanessa last night and told her she would be by to grab her things first thing this morning, but wasn't sure why she was calling. She gave Amanda the day off and was headed to her house to meet the Alarm company for 10 am, and the sooner she did that, the sooner she would be back home feeling a bit safer. There had been no break -in's since she left, but she still felt a little uneasy about the whole situation. She left a message with Teddy's mother updating her on what she found, and she also called and left a message for Roland, but he was busy and she was sure she would hear from him soon. She was anxious to find out if he had anymore hits on Teddy's whereabouts, but knew she had to wait it out. Just as she opened the door a note fell out and it was in big bold writing, and the note read; "I know who you are, and I know what you did" . Beverly froze for a minute, then she quickly looked around. She didn't see anyone, but tears began to fill her eyes. She stuffed the note in her bag and drove off as fast as she could. She drove aimlessly, thinking about everything she had done. She thought about her sister, and her parents. She thought about her whole life, and then there was Brian. She wasn't sure what to do now, should she go home?, should she sell her house and leave Miami? a place she had come to love. She was confused. She headed toward her neighborhood and she felt like she was in a fog. As she pulled up to her house, a Devcon truck sat waiting for her. She wasn't late, but they were early. She got out of her truck feeling the anxiety build up in her system. If a person could get into her truck and leave a note, they could surely get into her house again, and now she was sure the same person that got into her house, was the same person that got access to her truck and it was all tied to Teddy, and the whole Gutierrez situation and it was all coming back on her. She only wanted a good life, and she had changed, she wasn't the same girl anymore. She wasn't a criminal, she just had a lapse in judgement at the time. She knew Gutierrez was a murderer and a drug dealer and they felt like taking his money wasn't a big deal. He wouldn't have missed a measly 10.5 million dollars, besides he was evil and at the time her and Teddy were dead broke and miserable in their lives. Teddy didn't mean to kill him, he had no choice and now it looked like the her past was surely coming back to haunt her. She was trying her best to pull her thoughts together, but it was getting harder by the minute.
