Attack of the Aliens

It was a cold night, and my turn to watch for aliens. I had two pistols, an AK-47, and a shotgun. Aliens were nothing to mess with. I could see my breath in a cold, dense fog. I checked the temperature; it said -7 degrees on the little screen. " It's a perfect time for an attack." I whispered to myself. This all started a long time ago.

It was a sunny day, and my dad and I were grilling hot dogs. I could smell the cookies mom and the children were baking in the house. Mom worked at a bakery. My best friend Chang, was coming at 1:30, it was 1:20. Dad left a few minutes later after I checked the time, and told to me to watch the hot dogs.1:25, Chang was almost here. "Still need help cooking those alien dogs James?" Chang always did think he was hilarious. "Well it depends my elderly dumb struck friend!" I said, with enthusiasm. Chang jumped over the fence laughing. "Watch out, a dog is on fire!" he yelled. I turned around ready to the dog off, but found there was no fire dog. " You jerk!" I yelled.

All the sudden, purple, greenish clouds started forming fast as lightning. A stench, which smelled like rotten milk with mold on it, started rolling in. It looked as if a spell spilled over a pot and was taking a role on earth. All the sudden, a drop of rain fell on my face. Followed by another, and another. I saw a bright green flash of lightning hit the ground a few houses down the street. Then an orange flash hit the same spot, followed by a purple, yellow, blue, then gold! Alien like figures had appeared out of nowhere. Chang, out of breath, said "No this cant be, no, no, no!" It was as if he were having a tantrum. I said in the same way " What Chang, what Chang, what!" He ran to his backpack, pulled out his alien book, and showed me a picture. The figure, it was the exact same shape as what I just saw land on the ground. It took my breath away. " That could only mean, no! Aliens!" I was actually throwing a tantrum. " Instead of gigantic puppies or a million soft bunnies! Why, why ,why!" Chang gave both a threatening and crazy look that said both said "really" and "you idiot".

By the time we looked over to see what they were doing or what they wanted, one had made eye contact with us with its purple eyes. Before we knew it , they vanished. I heard a scream inside the house. I rushed inside, only to watch my family be taken away. I ran at them full speed screaming, but it was no use. By time I got there, they had already flashed away. No trace, no trail, no hope.

I couldn't bare not to look at my mothers face, fearing it would be my only memory! Then, I heard gun shots and crying. It was Alexis. She hunts with her dad. Also, her uncle was in the army. She could shoot a gun with an off aim at a target, and hit it dead center. She even shot bazookas! " I will find you, and kill the aliens! I will avenge you!" she said with sadness and anger. Alexis and I have known each other for a ten years. The distant shout took me no time to start running towards her house. When I got there, Alexis was on her knees crying.

The rest is to hard to explain, and I don't want to relive the moment. Chang knew exactly how we felt. His family was killed by a terrorist named Bu Aung when he was only thirteen.

The day I hate most, is the day this all started; that was May 9, 1887. today, the war has been going on for ten years ; today, is May 9, 1897. I've probably killed about a million of those life-destroying putrid imbeciles.

Wait, I hear something," Chang, wake up." I held the shotgun high in the air. Ready to pull the trigger, I heard a cock, then looked back. "Watch out!" Chang yelled. I turned around to have an alien gun pointed to my head. I pulled the trigger of the shot gun, blowing a hole in the aliens stomach. the alien didn't act very injured, so I pulled out both my pistols, and started firing. The alien fell backwards. I knew it was a general, when it pulled out its electric charge. An electric charge would kill any one up to fifty yards away. Only generals had such weapons.

When the alien was about to throw it, Chang shot his hand. The alien let out a high pitched noise,then said in his alien walkie talkie " I'm down, no need for rescue. I give my life to queen Hydra. All hail Hydra!" Before he could say any more, I blew his head off. By then , the whole resistance was alarmed. Not because we were being spied on, but the whole resistance was being spied on. Only us in particular was being spied on by a general.No one slept the rest of the night.
