"Sophie!", her mom called her from the kitchen. "What?", Sophie said, annoyed. Clearly this wasn't something good, by the way her mom sounded.
"You forgot your socks in the living room!", her mom shouted. Sophie groaned and made her way downstairs. "Why can't you just pick them up yourself?", Sophie asked. "Because I am your mother and you will do what I say!", her mom replied, bow really upset. "Fine, whatever", Sophie grumbled.
