Sploosh! Splash!

The puddles feedback as I walk through them. I hum to my music as my earphones dig into my ears as I push them back in. I smile. I like the rain. I have no reason to. I just do. It's almost like it's in my blood. It's almost seven pm. At this time, no one is awake on Elm Street. No one is on the streets but me today. Hopefully the Guards won't find me and take me away. That's what happens if anyone is left on the streets, you could be awake and in your warm home, but again, not on the streets.

I finally walk up to my dull lifed house and pull out my keys out of my pocket. I open the door and out of no where, my cat, Bellini, jumps out at me. I laugh and carry him into the house, care free. I lay him on the couch and run towards the kitchen. Of course, Bellini follows. Sometimes he gets annoying with his meowing, but you get used to it.

I stuff a pizza in the oven and run back towards the living room. I throw myself onto the couch and switch the television on. Bellini jumps up onto my lap, curls into a ball, and purrs himself to sleep. "ATTENTION ELM STREET!" The news reporter rages, "THERE HAVE BEEN SOME UNNATURAL SIGHTI-" I shut the television off, panicked and breathing hard. I jump as I hear a knock at the door. Guards? I run to get the door.

Our town is small. I would be able to recognize if these are my towns people. They're not. They are definitely not Guards. The man and the woman standing in front of my door way are wearing clothes like the Guards but you can tell they aren't. "May I help you?" I ask about to close the door. The woman halts the door to a stop with her black-gloved hand. The two let themselves in. They are definitely not from around Elm Street. They are taller than us. Paler too.

The two tower over me, hands crossed behind their backs. "Ed Sheeran?" The tall, pale man questioned.

I nod and swallow hard. "Yes." They both nod and shove me in a large sack. So much for making pizza.

Bright, white light greets me as the sack is pulled off. Where am I? I look up at the two. "We have brought you here for a reason, Ed." The woman says. She starts walking. I follow with the tall man behind me, "You might not like this very much, but you ARE the unnatural occurrence on Elm Street. You have very strange powers." I knew it! I knew that I have always had powers and strange differences! "This is the 'Ordinary' laboratory. Every one and every living thing you see in this lab is an Ordinary. Ed. You are one of us." The man speaks up now.

"Us 'Ordinaries' are aliens with supernatural powers that take over a human body. The thing is, we need you, Sheeran. You were BORN an Ordinary. You...you are not human nor alien. You ar something more. Someone, something special. You are defiantly NOT ordinary." I am lead to a room full of human Ordinaries. Too many to count.

Wait. This is not me. I am not a supernatural like THIS! I AM human! I know I am! Then I stop. The world stops and my eyes lay on one person and one person only. My sister.
