The baby

Natsu's POV
I'm at Lucy's house again,I snuck in while she was in the shower. Then someone knocks on the door, Lucy starts to turn the shower off and then I yell "I'll get it, Luce". Lucy already knew I was here, so she turned the shower back on. I open the door to see no one. "Kids and their bad jokes..." Then as I was about to close the door, I heard a short little cry. I look down and saw a baby...
"Hey Luce?" I say walking back into the house with baby in my arms, still sleeping.
"Yeah?" She said and cracked the bathroom door, so she could hear me better.
"You might want to come out here," I say.
Lucy's POV
"Ok?" I say back questionably and slide my pajama pants on.
I come out towel still wrapped around my hair. I walk over to Natsu, who is sitting on my bed like usual, I see a basket sitting next to him. The next thing I noticed was a baby in his arms.
"Why do you have a baby?" I ask.
"It was at your door when I answered, I saw no one else, so I picked it up and brought it inside along with the basket it was in. This letter was attached..here.." He says and hands me the letter. I took it from him and opened it, I started to read it out loud.
"Dear to who it may concern, I'm very ill and I won't live long enough to watch and take care of my daughter. I hope you will take good care of her and watch her very well. Thank you so much...oh her birthday is December 24th, yes, Christmas Eve, her name is Akemi, you can give her your last name if you'd like. Thank you again..."
I say.
"So I guess we are her parents...." Nastu says as the baby starts to stutter then Natsu started silently singing, I could barely hear him, and the baby calmed down.
"Wow, Natsu you are good with babies" I say as I look over at the calendar, today is January 5th, wow I guess she was really ill I think to myself.
"Wanna hold her Luce?" Natsu asks, looking up at me.
I smile, "Sure, I would love to" I say as Natsu stands up and hands her to me.
"Elevate her head," Natsu says.
"Wow, it's like you have done this before, Natsu" I say and smile while holding the baby.
"Oh, I had a baby brother, who died after he turned four, from a really bad illness." He says and frowns.
"Oh....I'm sorry......" I say and frown.
"It's okay," he says and smiles.
"So do you wanna show everyone at the guild?" I ask.
"Kinda of I'm worried that they'll think it's actually yours, and I'm the dad...." He says.
"It's okay,I'll tell them it's not." I say as I wrap another blanket around the baby. Then I put my favorite blanket around both of us. Natsu grabbed the letter and we headed for the guild.
