Little Fox [ Reader x Kogitsunemaru ]

Okay. Here is the story. My first oneshot book, tbh.

It's still a bit early in the morning. The air was still fresh. And the mood in the Citadel was just really peaceful. This is why you love the Citadel.

There you were, flushing and sweating a bit. You're doing the chores, and judging from the way you act, it's a quite heavy one. And why is it not? It's autumn, and you're sweeping the fallen leaves off. Of course it's not going to be an easy task.

(h/c) locks lazily swaying on your forehead, and your delicate shoulders too. You tied your hair in a bun but it's messy and some of your hair is just too hard to deal with and you deciced to ignore it and focus on your task.

After quite some time, you stood straight, and cringed when you heard some cracking noises from your back. You've been expecting it, but you're still surprised anyway.

Then, with a sudden laziness, you bowed down again to pick up your broom. At first, you thought that feeling lazy was impossible--since the mood is very supporting--but now, all you want to do is drop your broom and take a nice soothing cup of green tea altogether with your beloved Swords.

But of course, you're not going to throw your chores to your Swords. They have enough tasks to be done ASAP already.

You grumbled. For a second, you just pulled the broom off of the ground. Then, you noticed that something was off. The broom was warmer, bigger, and softer than it usually is. When you looked down, you saw a flash of sun-kissed skin and a lean arm. You recognized it right after.

"Kogitsunemaru," you whispered. Immediately, heat rushed to your cheeks. You turned around to look at him right into his eyes--which made you blush redder, if it's possible.

"Impressive," a self-satisfied chuckle leaked from Kogitsune's mouth. A rumbling sound that made you feel shy somehow.

"It looks like these chores give you a bit of difficulty, no?"

"As if," you scoffed. "I may be an ordinary girl but I'm more than capable in handling tasks like this,"

"Ah then, sorry for insulting you," Kogitsune apologized, although he didn't sound guilty at all.

"Apology accepted," you answered shortly and started to continuing what you were doing before Kogitsune popped out of nowhere.

Let's be honest here. Kogitsunemaru is one amazing guy. Everyone would fall for him helplessly. And why not? His tall, muscular build, his wild-looking red orbs, and the way his snowy locks sway lazily as he shifts from here to there.

You narrowed your eyes in jealousy. All you wanted to do is to bury your face on his chest--a muscle wall--listening to his heart beat. Yeah, that would be great. Although it is impossible, fantasizing always feel great, right?

But suddenly, you heard some faint sounds. Wait.

"...... Aruji-sama. Hey, you there? Earth to Aruji-sama," it was Kogitsune's deep voice that never fails to make your heart skip a beat.

"I'm here!" you suddenly screamed out of the blue, startling both you yourself and Kogitsune.

"Easy there, Aruji-sama," Kogitsune gulps. "You okay? Are you daydreaming?"
