Chapter 10~ Class Reunion (part 2)

Renesmees P.O.V:
Saturday. Mom and Dad made it seem like forever. This morning they got dressed early before I had even woken up and did their makeup so that they looked human. Mom had to try harder then dad though, because that's how everyone knew her. And I have to admit, when I woke up and saw her, I was convinced that she could've been human. Mom and dad hunted all day yesterday. I got a deer soon after I woke up, just to power myself a bit, but I prefer spaghetti over any of that crap, plus, I like to keep the environment healthy. I then got changed, making myself look like a sophisticated teenager, putting my hair up in a twist letting some curls fall out. "How do I look?" I said as I heard dad come to the door. "Like your mother." And with that, I saw my mother at my father's side. "Awww, honey you look great. You know you don't have to go to this if you don't want to, right?" I nodded. "I want to." I said simply. I liked to make them happy. Especially mom. We got in mom's Volvo and drove to Forks High School and saw maybe about 20 cars. There was a banner hanging on the front and it said "Welcome back Class of 2010". I thought that was nice. I had never seen the school, let alone be inside of it. I was suddenly sort of excited. "Ness, remember don't touch anyone's face." Mom said. She was obviously paranoid. "Why would I touch anyone's face? I may be part vampire but I'm not a freak." Mom just rolled her eyes. As if I were the one who asked her not to touch someone's face. "How come everyone else wasn't invited to this? Like aunt Alice and uncle Jasper?" I finally asked. Dad chimed in. "They probably wouldn't have invited me if I weren't married to your mother." I was confused. Why not? I thought. Dad answered. "Because to them, we were gorgeous and better then everybody. Mom, she was perfectly normal and everyone loved her. Especially Mike. I'll be keeping tabs on his thoughts today." Mom rolled her eyes again. "We should go inside. We're being rude sitting out here." Mom said. Now she just sounded anxious. I got out and dad locked the car. I was almost taller then mom, I realized as I walked beside her. We finally entered the school and there was an arrow that said "Please proceed to the cafeteria". So I just followed mom and dad. As we walked in to the cafeteria, I saw maybe about 35 people. Dad stayed glued to mom's side and I clinged behind her, sort of like a small child.
Bella's P.O.V:
As we headed into the cafeteria, (which seemed like it changed but hadn't at all), we saw Angela and Eric. They must have gotten married, because she had a huge stone on her finger. "Hey Angela! It's been forever!" She seemed as overly excited as me. "Oh my gosh, Bella hi! You haven't changed a bit!" She exclaimed. She embraced me for a hug and I realized that I must have been cold to her, because she shivered. "Hello Edward, nice to see you too." She said in a less excited tone. I smiled. Angela is always so nice. "Who is this?" She said pointing to Renesmee. "This is our daughter Renesmee." I said jestering towards her. "Hello! Pleasure to meet you." She said. She shook her hand and was shocked that she wasn't cold. "Your daughter?" I nodded. "Edwards biological brother passed away and left his daughter behind so CPS (child protective services) found Edward and we adopted her about 5 years ago." She looked at us in awe. "That is so great. Eric and I have been talking about having a baby for a while, we got married 2 years ago. It was a family only wedding, Eric's idea. I wanted to invite you guys!" She was so sweet, she never thought about herself. "Oh, no its fine! I'm sure it was a lovely wedding." She nodded. "Jess has been dying to talk to you! She hasn't seen you in a while..." I nodded. "I should probably go talk to her, I'll talk to you later?" I inquired. "Oh yea, I'm sure we'll all get seated at the same table anyway. I helped sort out the seating." She winked. I smiled. "Bella?!" Jess squealed. "Hey!" I breathed. She ran to hug me. She was pregnant, and married to Mike I connected. I was sort of jealous of her. She had a normal pregnancy. I didn't. She also shivered. "Hi Edward, and....?" She questioned. "Renesmee. Our daughter." I answered. She looked so confused right now, I almost laughed. Edward too. She thought I was pregnant on my wedding day. This wouldn't have worked even if I was. "Your daughter?" She asked, having the same reaction as Angela. "Yes, she was Edwards biological brothers daughter, but he and his wife passed away and left her behind so CPS found us about 5 years ago and we adopted her." She was so confused. Edward was still biting his lip. He must have been reading her thoughts. "Wow Bella. She looks so much like you, and Edward. It looks like she's truly yours." I laughed awkwardly, then continued with conversation.
Edwards P.O.V:
Jessica is so annoying. I know it's rude, being I haven't seen her or read her thoughts in a while, but even her being pregnant and married I can still hear her fantasies about me. Oh well. How is she adopted? She looks too much like Bella to be adopted. Plus, the kid is gorgeous, so obviously she's got Edward in her. But Bella looks different too, and not like she's aged at all, but prettier, if that's possible. Mike is probably swooning over her now, him and I will talk later... Jessica just got more annoying, so I went to Mike. Bella and Edward have a kid? That just makes me sick. She could be my wife if Cullen didn't have to butt in. But damn. She's still hot. I shouldn't be thinking like this. My wife is pregnant. Damn...we need to buy more of that food she's craving...what's it called again?... Mike just got me more angry with how he was still thinking about my Bella. So, to calm myself, I went to Renesmees thoughts. Mom's friends seem great. I'm glad I'm not disappointing her. Dad either. I wonder if I can have a future with Jake with what they have. I love him so much, I don't ever want to lose him. Those shit heads in Italy will just have to deal with it because I'm not letting go or giving up. That's all I needed to hear for my heart, or whatever you want to call it, to break. She probably thought about this all the time. I just continued going into other people's thoughts and seeing what else was new.
Renesmees P.O.V:
Dad looked worried, but content. When he caught me looking, he just half smiled, and then continued. Mom was being shown ultrasound pictures on Jess' phone. I was mentally exhausted. I was thinking about Jake. We've been together my whole life. Physically I seemed to be 17. I was thinking about our future, and how that isn't that far away. I was thinking about our fantasy wedding and two years from then going home and seeing children, our children running around the yard playing hide and go seek around a white picket fence, and the sun beating down in the late afternoon on their small eyelashes. I wanted that. That was my idea of perfect. I was going to work for that, and eventually, hopefully, live that reality.
