The Day

Harley was sitting on a rock on a cliff right over the Fjords of Norway. She had her handy scetch book in hand, drawing tool beside her, and a pencil in her hands. She was over looking a dock thay had a bunch of puffins. She smiled and began drawing, she drew with such precision, such ease. It was like her pencil was floating and she was just guiding it. The young sliver haired boy was shy about talking to the girl even though they'd been friends for all their child hood years. He walked up to the girl and tapped her shoulder. She jumped and put a hand over her heart "Helvete. You scared me doll." She smiled at the boy "I-im sorry. I-I didn't mean to scare you." He said shyly. She smiled more and moved over patting the spot next to her. He sat beside her and looked out over the Fjords. She continued drawing. Making fine details, and color. She folded her drawing. "I-I was talking to Denmark....he said your moving....is that true.." He asked. Looking out over the cliff. She sighed "unfortunately yes...we're moving to Gothem City...in America.." She looked out over the cliff as well. The small boy took her hand. "I'll miss you Harley..." He said moving closer to her. She smiled and held his hand back. "I'll miss you more Emil." She leaned her head on his shoulder. Over the horizon she could hear her mother calling her. "Ice....It's time..." She sighed and and stood up, Emil followed suit and hugged her tight. "Be safe Del." He said and breathed in her scent one last time. "I will..and ice can you promise me somthing." She said and handed him the folded paper. "What is is Harley?" He asked taking the paper. "Promise you'll never forget me. And you won't open this paper untill I leave." She breathed on his scent as well. "I promise." He smiled. The calling was still going on. "Jeg alskar dig" She said and pecked his lips smiling then ran off. He stood there for a few minutes trying to process what had just happened. And when he did. He smiled.
