It all started out like a blur. A figure standing infront of me. A tall guy. Thats all i can tell for now. I just cant see him clearly, like someone not using his glasses.
"We're like smoke..."
"Why?" Involuntarily, those words came out of my mouth.
He mouthed some words but was left with nothing. I tried to ask him but i suddenly woke up. My body woke my sleeping mind.
I rubbed my eyes, trying to open it as wide as possible for me to see the time.
"Six o'clock. Cool. You never fail me body clock."
I got up, walking pass the canvases on the floor to the kitchen when all the other canvas are.
"What is life?" I asked softly and my cat appeared infront of me. He purrs.
"You dont even know."
He purrs again in reply.
"Why am i even talking to you? Youre a cat."
He just purrs again. I actually feel like we're having a conversation here.
I made myself a coffee and went to my garage to continue the sculpture i was making. Looney, my cat followed me to my garage and went to sleep on one of my sculptures. I let him since its not part of the exhibit i am in.
I placed the mug down and i started working on the sculpture.
Sculpture i am making is made out of wires. Lots and lots of wires. A 3D sculpture of a woman dancing ballet. Because of this sculpture, i have lots wounds because sometimes, i forget to wear gloves. Just like now.
"Jiff! Gloves!" I shouted.
My small dog came running down the stairs with my gloves in his mouth.
I tried to win on the daily tug-of-war between me and Jiff. Obviously, i always win but i give him a treat for giving me my gloves. I guess... we just got used to that routine.
"Youre up so early." A familiar voice greeted me.
"So are you." I replied without looking at her.
"I heard you shout."
"Your alarm clock." I rolled my eyes. Shes obviously teasing me.
"How'd you know?" She chuckled and went beside me.
"Shut up."
She looked at the sculpture i am making, studying every twist i made.
"When will you exhibit this again?"
"Two days from now." I reply as i make a new twist of wire for the dress of the sculpture.
"Oooohhhh. Thats why it's almost done."
"Wow. Good job Sherlock."
She rolled her eyes on me and looked at me. Her eyes glued to my eyes. I would like to ignore it but it feels so uncomfortable when someome stares at you like that.
"Would you please stop staring, Myr?"
"Never." She giggled and still continued to stare.
I looked at her and gawked, looking at her like i'm gonna kill her any second if she doesnt stop. She looked away immediately as soon as i did that and smiles innocently.
"Good luck on that, by the way. Cant wait to see your sculpture on the exhibit. My friend will be there too."
"Cool. Now dont disturb me. I love you. Go away."
