21: Good Christmas Gone Bad

It's Christmas morning but I don't have the holiday spirit. And I'm pretty sure it's the fact that Noah is coming over.

 Or it could be because your boyfriend isn't here because he's with his boyfriend, my inner conscious said. Which is knew it was true but I'm still in denial.

 There was a knock at me door breaking me from my thought.

 "Yeah" I said getting out of bed.

"My mom and the twins will be here in 2 hours just to let you know." Savannah said while texting.

" Okay." Now that's something that got me in my spirits.

Madyson (Mady) and Ian are Savannah twin siblings whose now 3. They are the cutest little babies ever and they could put a smile on anyone's face.

 I  lounged around for a little whole before taking a shower and getting ready. I was just finishing my hair when I heard little giggles downstairs. I put my straightener down to go downstairs.

 "E!!!" They both said unison as I came downstairs.

 "Hey guys. Oh my you guys have gotten so big." I said picking them up in each arm.

 "Yes and they are a hand full of energy too." Aunt Lilian said carrying their bags in.

 "Hey aunt Lil." I hugged her after putting the twins down.

 "Hello darling I've missed you." We hugged and went to the living room.

 We talked about how school was going and what we plan to do after high school.

 It was now 7:30 mom and aunt Lil were setting the table for Christmas dinner while I went to freshen up.

 There was a knock at my door.

 "It's open" I said.

 "hey your mom told me I could come up." Noah said walking into the room.

 "Yeah I'll be done in a bit you can sit if you want." I finished my make-up. I had to change into something that was more Christmasy. I put on a red knee length dress that had a mesh cover over the top of my chest and black wedges with my accessories.

 "Wow you look beautiful, and can we talk after dinner?" Noah stopped me from walking any further.

 "Thank you and sure." I was kind of  nervous about this talk, but there are some things I needed to know.

 After dinner everyone exchanged gifts. Since Sean wasn't here I went upstairs and got the watch and wrote Noah's name on it and went back downstairs. I gave Noah his present and he gave me mine. Noah opened his present and his eyes got wide. Well technically its his now. Noah pulled out the gold Guess watch examining it.

 "Thank you Eve." He said.

 "You're welcome." I said smiling.

 I opened my gifts leaving Noah's for last. My mom got me some gift cards and money. Savannah got me two cardigans and a forever 21 gift card. Janice got  me a infinity bracelet  and my aunt Lil gave me some money. And lastly I opened Noah two gifts both of them James Avery a charm bracelet that spells out my name and a deep in the heart of Texas charm necklace. I looked up at Noah smiling as mouthing 'thank you'. We cleaned up the wrapping paper as the twins played with their toys they got.

 Me and Noah went out back on the patio for our 'talk'.

 "So before we talk about anything I have one question." I said fiddling with my fingers.

 He nodded for me to continue.

 "You knew Sean swung for the other team didn't you?" I was trying my best to not get mad.

 He sighed. "Yes I-" I cut him off.

 "And you didn't tell me." I raised my voice a little.

 "No because then you would try to blame me for ruining your 'chance' with him and you aren't putting this on me cause I warned you." I didn't have anything to say cause all he said was true.

 "But you still tried to come between us so why still not tell me." I said I was not going to let him win.

 "Did you not just hear me??? No matter what I say you still blame me! I wonder how Sean lasted this long with you." He said getting pissed.

 "See this is why me and you would never work!" I said now yelling.

 "Why cause you can't handle the truth? I'm only telling you about yourself! Need I remind you?" He yelled back.

 Janice and my mom came running outside.

 "What is going on out here?" My mom asked seriously.

 "Your daughter is being a stuck up bitch who can't open here damn eyes to the truth. She's-" He was cut off by Janice.

 "Noah enough! I've taught you better!" Janice scold him.

 "Well she deserves it someone needs to tell her." Noah mumbled walking away.

 "Rene and Evelyn I'm so sorry he's never acted like this." Janice said ashamed.

 "It's okay like he said I probably deserved it." I said walking inside to my room.

So there's going to be 1-2 chapters left of this book but don't worry there's going to be a sequel.

This chapter may seem a little rushed but I have so many ideas for the next book I'm  ready to start writing it.
