Imperfect is the New Perfect©
Prologue:
Hi everyone! This is my first actual series I've written and I really hope you enjoy it. I got my inspiration from a lot of things actually. First of all, my inspiration came from Scott Westerfield and his Uglies series. Second, a book I had to read in seventh grade, The Giver by Louis Lowry. Both The Giver and the Uglies series have sort of a wack society that controls an area of land sectioned off from the rest of the world. I like authors that create their own worlds; it's either their dream world, or a nightmare. Third, my inspiration came directly from the song, Imperfect is the New perfect, by Caitlin Crosby. She is an amazing vocalist and her song gives a lot of teenage girls the support they don't get from the people around them.
By the way guys: It is ABSOLUTELY IMPORTANT that you read the first chapter of book one! I know it can be a tad boring and I tend to rant in places, but it has all the information about the Perfect Society and the beginning of the Council. I promise that the juicy, suspenseful stuff will soon follow. :)
