Isara saw the female Sabertooth glance at her with intense eyes. Isara knew better than to tease the Sabertooth cats. The snow was silent as she walked across, her boots getting pelted with the fluffy cloud. Isara lived in a group of hunter-gatherers, her mother, Fog had died of being impaled by a mammoth. Now, Isara was on her own with her aunt Yala and her baby girl, Blizzard. Her uncle too. "So, you like the snow?" Storm whispered in her ear. Isara frowned. Storm was a 14 year old, the same age as her, they had found him alone, in the forest. He said that his group had abandoned him. Isara wasn't surprised. "Storm, the snow is nice to look at, but, it hurts us all." She told him. "Well, anyway, I made you something." Storm said brushing his black hair out of his face. His blue eyes shone as he pulled something out from behind him. A string made from mammoth parts was present with a small, crudely carved sabertooth cat head roaring. Isara's eyes widened. "I..I... It's beautiful Storm. I've never had anything like it." Isara said gasping. Storm grinned wildly. "I made it just for you. Because.. I love you." Storm told her. "Storm, you are very nice, and a great hunter. Thank you." Isara said hurriedly. She whipped around and started toward Yala's hut. "Wait!" Storm said. But, Isara was already gone.
