As humans walk this world caged...But don't let that stop you from achieving your goals, love...

Shayle Conners

She is truly beautiful. The way her long dark brown hair falls and sprays about as she walks with her friend, how her loud voice echoes off the walls of the school to the pit of my heart, when those small but not too small chocolate eyes fluctuate between emotions just as quick as you could say hey, and those gorgeous freckles lifted up as those plump chapped lips raised when she smiled (Which probably tastes better than they look). The most gorgeous girl I have ever seen in my existence, with the gorgeous name of Gabbie Millers.

I walked the schools corridors with my head held low watching the dirt on my green converses scuff the tiled floors, strands of brown hair went into my view telling me its time to flip it out, my grey sweatshirt hung just below my rear showing it was way to big for me, and i'm sure my green eyes seemed dull and lifeless against everyone else. It's just a normal Friday for me. Well, almost. These new med have really taken their toll on me, not that getting rarely any sleep is anything new.

My head fell lower as i pressed the sketchbook harder against my barely beating chest and bit my lower lip. Then i heard my only saving grace, my only savior in this world of mayhem. Its her. Its Gabbie! My feet turned automatically and i lifted my head watching. I must have looked like i was filled with adrenaline (to be honest i am) because as soon as she had seen me standing there waiting she blasted with worry and apologized like she could do any wrong. Her and i have art class together, but ranked highly because of her artistic abilities. 'Astonishing for an eighth grader' the teacher always says making her animate crap even if she didn't want to once so ever.

I laid awake listening to the cars passing by slowly in the night, the moon pierced through my window, and the stars blinked and twinkled like they are having a mini party millions of miles away from here. A place where everything knew everything, where every star loved and cared for each other and danced all night to chase the monsters that they kept in chains. But that place... doesn't exist. The place where everyone dreams of where no one can ever hurt anyone. They don't truly realize this world could be that place, if people ever thought to change.

Finally my mind drifted off and feel to sleep. But that's when the nightmare occurs most. In the dead of night, when i'm not feeling any sorts of pain.

I heard it, my beloveds screams of pain and sorrow. I ran and ran through the long corridor nearly tripping over my own feet. The screams got louder and louder and louder until the point they were muffled gurgles.

Welcome...to caged....
