"Today were going to have our monthly race, and-" I interrupted Brooke.
We were outside during the Spring.
"YES!!!!! OH!!!!!! 2ND PLACE HERE I COME!!!!! AGAIN!!!!!!!" I yelled.
Brooke gave me that 'haha' smile.
I gave her a dirty look.
Brooke ALWAYS wins first place.
I always win 2nd, Blake 3rd, Cheyenne 4th, Autumn 5th, Zoey 6th and Ryan last.
"Line up everyone!" Brooke said.
Everyone lined up.
I was ready for this.
"On your mark." Brooke said.
"Get set! GOOOO!!!!"
I zoomed off. I started out as 2nd place, but then a sharp turn that we usually slow down on, I speeded up! I turned so I wouldn't hit anything and then, past Brooke!
I kept that pace for the rest so she wouldn't pass me.
I started to slow down, but that stop me from being on 1st place. Brooke tried to speed up.
I heard cheering.
"SHES DOING IT!!!!!" I heard Autumn yelled.
I touched the finish line.
"I won!" I thought.
Brooke was 3 seconds behind me.
The others walked to the finish line.
Brooke took my hand and shook it.
"That was weird." I thought.
"Congrats Flame(my nickname), your the new leader of the neons." Brooke said.
I did my happy dance.
"YEAHYA!!!!" I yelled.
I did my happy dance. I crossed that off my great achievements list.
Hope ya liked this chapter. I remember how hard I worked to win that race! I also remember one race when we raced and on the sharp turn I hit a pole and sprained my arm! That hurt. Oh, and I also got to school with @otisthepug9884 and @MLP333
