Dear Diary,

I ate the last bite of the peanut butter and jelly sandwich and stared at my friend. She was sitting with two other girls. They had packed a five star meal with an expensive lunchbox in hand. I didn't mind mine. It was shaped as a basketball with a little pocket in the front for a drink, and a big one in the middle for my food. It was just the perfect size, and all I needed.

When lunch was over, my friend Rachel and I headed to the line our class was heading towards. It was always crowded in the lunch room. We always got pushed or shoved. Usual day at lunch.

In class, I was trying to plan the 'Friday Night Sleepover' Stacey and I were going to have later that day. I was picturing popcorn with scary movies, and Star Magazines. Usual sleepovers for us. As you see, Friday Night Sleepovers are a very big deal for the two of us. Though we have different friends like she has Makayla and Liz, I have Chelsey and Rachel. Really, Stacey and I are best friends, but at lunch we just never seem to sit with each other. I can only think of two reasons why. Number one: I would feel weird to sit with her friends (that I barely know) and Number two: I would feel akward to leave those two to go sit with her. I feel like they would get mad at me because, I usually always sit with them.

Luckily, sometimes she comes and sits with us. I never sit with them.

As the last bell rang, I ploped my backpack on my shoulders and headed to the main entrance of the school. The doors had been opened by the new teacher. Some say that he is really mean. Well, John Crosser. He is the most annoying kid in the school. Sadly, he is in my class and must of made up that dumb lie. The man stopped me for a second on my way out the door. My book bag was half way opened because, I was so excited to get home and prepare for an awesome sleepover.

"Where do you think you are going young man?" He said to me in a very strict voice. He squinted his eyes staring into mine. I wondered why he stopped me and why he could ever think I was a boy! My green hood was up but my long blonde hair didn't get covered by it.

"I am a girl. And my name is Abby Hawkcans." I told him, my lime green eyes squinting, looking through passed my long light eyelashes. My voice sounded croaky; as if I actually believed John Crosser.

"Well well well...Always making up stories. I have seen many of your kind Mr. Hawkcans. Follow me." He scolded, gesturing his hands to the principal's office. I had never even been in the main office before. In fact, whenever I even came into school late, my mom or dad signed me in and I went straight to class. I was sort of hoping nothing would happen and the teacher wouldn't be mean. Maybe John Crosser didn't lie...I hope he did though...I really hope he did.
