Song: Warrior by Demi Lovato

- Dakota ♥

"I'm telling you I don't remember most of what happened that night," I told My Lawyer. "Tell us what you do remember," Nick, My Lawyer, told me.

I sighed and looked up at him, "Me and my friend Liza were at a college for a little bit. When we were on our way to our car, Ian yelled out at me telling me to stay and be with him but I refused, the rest of the night is a blur."

"And what happened at Mr. Schultz's house, Ms. Chadwick?" Nick asked. I looked at the Jury then at her, "He beat me," I whispered, "He beat me if I didn't do what I said, he hit me for months and also started cutting me. Not too deep so he didn't have to take me to the hospital but enough to leave bruises and scars. He dyed my hair so no one recognized me."

"Can You show us these bruises and scars, Ms. Chadwick?" Nick asked. "Objection!" Ian's Lawyer, Alexandria , yelled standing up. "Denied," Judge Taylor said, Alex sat down and looked at Ian who was smirking, "Proceed. I frowned and lifted up my Tank top showing the scars and bruises that Ian gave me. I quickly pulled it down after little while.

"Did he do anything other than hit you?" Nick asked. "He r-raped me," I stuttered, feeling tears for my eyes, "When he went to clubs he would bring a girl home every night then k-kill them." "Do You know what he did with these girls, Dakota?" Nick asked. "He would take me and their bodies to Arizona where I had to dig a grave for them in a old grave yard no one used anymore," I answered.

"How many girls were there, Dakota?" Nick asked pacing from the jury to me before looking at Ian and back at me. "Four," I answered. "Do you know the name and ages of these girls?" Nick asked.

"Marry-Anne Louise was 18, Alyssa Lynn was 20, Calli Taylor, was 17, and Drew," I paused before speaking again, "Drew Elizabeth was only 10, He found her walking home by herself when he was heading home from work, I tried to help her but he kept her for weeks, He hurt me more as I tired to protect her, but one night he threw me in the bedroom closet where I could hear her cries as he raped her then he became silent." I began to feel the tears slid down my face.

"No further questions Your honor," Nick said before going back to his seat. "You may step down now Ms. Chadwick," Judge Taylor told me. I quickly went to my seat and started to cry more. "We will continue tomorrow to finish this case," Judge Taylor said, "Court Dismissed." I quickly got up and ran into Drew's arms and cried. "It's okay," Drew cooed in my ear, "You're safe now."

"But the girls," I whispered, "Their Gone."
