The secret life of Abby Addison

Chapter 3

Abby gets home and goes straight to her room. She takes her phone and calls the doctor back.
"Hi, my name is Abby Grace Williams. You called me earlier regarding a blood test."
"Yes, hi, I was going to call your grandfather but I thought that you should tell him yourself, or if you want me to I will tell him." Normally, the doctor will contact your parents but Abby is a special case. A week before Abby was born her mom went into labor, and her dad drove her to the hospital. On the way to the hospital a car ran a red light and hit their car. It was a major tragedie but if it was not for a doctor that was standing near the scene Abby would not be here. She was then given to her grandfather and grandmother to be risen up.
"So, what is the problem with it," asked Abby feared for her life.
"This is hard to say Abby but you came out positive to cancer and pregnancy."
"What I never had sex, and cancer, really, I am about to turn 16? How did I possibly get cancer?"
"Abby, can you please come to my office tomorrow so we can talk about you options?"
Abby pauses in silence for a long while.
"Yeah, grandpa said we can drive up there tomorrow afternoon, after I take my driving test."
"Okay, and Abby, I suggest you to tell your grandpa. You don't have to tell him all the major details but you should tell him what is going on in your life."
"Okay, I will go now. Thanks for telling me all this doctor James and we will see u tomorrow," I said in a soft skittish voice.
Abby hangs up the phone and walks into the kitchen were her grandfather is.
