Ring...
The Bell finally rang, signaling us to move our butts out from this torture.
"Class dismissed," Mr. Frank announced.
I inhaled a deep breath and started packing my stuff. I went out from the room and went straight to my next class, biology, which is at the other side of the building.
After 5 minutes of walking, I finally arrived.
A few moments later, the class finally started. Last block of the day and I'm outta this hell!
I love all the subjects but seriously, I graduated highschool at 8 and I don't need to learn all these stuff, again. I thought I'm done with these from the past 10 years but no, fate seems to play with my already miserable life.
I'm seriously blabbering, sorry about that.
"Okay class, I want you to know that we will have a new student. Mr. Colton, may you please come in?" Mrs. Johnson asked the guy who is apparently outside, waiting for Mrs. Johnson's instructions.
What's his name again? Erm, Mr. Cotton? Damn, seriously Emily. You're so good at remembering all the lessons but remembering names? A total no, no.
He walked in like he owns the place. He's wearing ripped jeans, a hoodie and some black shoes which is about twice my size. His hair is a good shade of brown which is dishevelled perfectly to his right. He have blue mesmerizing eyes which could melt anybody's heart. His face was so perfect that you could consider his as a god. He glanced at my direction and smirked. He saw me checking him out! Stupid, Emily. I instantly felt my cheeks burn with embarrassment. I instantly looked away and focused on my book.
Damn you, Mr. Cotton or whatever your surname is!
"Would you please introduce yourself?" Mrs. Johnson asked as she gave him a sweet smile.
"Sure," Mr. Cotton nodded. "Hi everybody, my name is Caleb Colton..." He started blabbering but I didn't pay attention. What shocked me most is his surname. It sounds so familiar.
Colton, Colton, Colton. I repeated his surname trying to remember anything.
~flashback~
"Honey, me and your father decided upon something very important. You must promise to follow what we say and you shall never disobey them. Okay?" My mother looked at me sternly.
"Sure, no biggie," I said casually as if it's as simple as stealing cookies from the cookie jar.
"Honey, I'm serious!" My mom half stated and half shouted.
"Okay, okay!" I sighed in defeat. Never had I disobeyed them anyways. Oh, I actually did! I was having a slumber party with my bestfriends and my parents told me to go to bed at exactly 12 a.m. I got lost of tract of the time so I slept at 3. In the morning, all I received was annoyed faces and blabbering from my parents, oh well.
"......Colton. Okay?" My mom raised a brow.
"What?" I asked, I might have blanked out from her.
"I said," she took a long sigh. "You shall stay away from any person with a surname 'Colton'. They is dangerous for you and they are tracking you down. You must stay as an outcast and nobody shall know your true identity," she sternly looked at me.
~end of flashback~
"Thank you, Mr. Colton. You may sit next to..." Mrs. Johnson trailed, looking for a vacant seat. "...Emily." She continued as she saw the vacant chair beside me.
This is gonna be a freaking long day...
