I get into the car with Sam and plop my seat belt on over my shoulder and throw my hair up into a lazy; no care bun. I roll down the window and take a deep breath of the surrounding air; wind blowing on my face. I smell the relaxing smell of pine from the pine trees standing tall around the roads. Sam rolls down the street. We pass the town where now the trees are the only thing you see as the buildings disappear from your eye. The car slightly lurches forward as he steps on the pedal sending us down the empty road at seventy miles per hour. I enjoy it at first; until he goes past eighty. "You need to slow down," I manage to get out as anxiety spills through me. He reaches ninety and I begin to panic as I see the cliff in front of us waiting for us to disappear into existence.

"Who would want to slow down this fun." He smirks and I stare at the road ahead of us. He's nearing one hundred. I know I will have to let myself go; he won't listen.

He laughs as we go past one hundred and I clench my jaw and hold onto the seat as hard as I can. The wind flying into the window whips my face and tears spout down my cheeks. "Slow down! Now! You are going to kill us!" It's too late. I hold my breath as he tries to turn and we skid off the edge of the cliff. I bang my head on the door and blood blankets my cheek; and the boulders underneath us are coming at us fast. I don't let my breath go. Everything is silent. Just us falling down towa-
