Sorry this chapter may be a little tedious, so I promise to update hopefully by Friday and if not, definitely by Saturday. If it is boring, just skip/ skim read until the last ten lines or so and that's the most important part.

'Tiger Lily, I have a surprise for you...' Pan said, his smile irresistibly sweet, making my heart melt. I didn't want to look at him in any other way than the boy that was trying to persuade me to tell him where to find someone he wanted to kill, but it was increasingly difficult.

We were enemies, but there were times when we chose not to be.

One moment, we're screaming at each other. He'd throw things, slam the door, scream at me. We were so dysfunctional, with an estranged relationship and for a moment, I felt like I can't do this anymore. But then, Peter Pan would always do something that would make me love him again.

'You do? A nice one I hope,' I whispered, a little eagerly as I watched him with curiosity. Pan knew that ever since my childhood, I had loved nice surprises. I believed anything unexpected, anything with a little ounce of danger, a little risk, a little adventure... was worth doing.

'Of course is it nice, I wouldn't do anything else. Now close your eyes.' Pan ordered and moved towards me. He was so close that I could feel his breath gently tickling my skin. His hand grasped mine and pulled.

I felt the disorientation, the weightlessness of flying, but I stayed true to Pan's words and kept my eyes tightly shut, trusting him for a strange reason I couldn't explain, probably because I once trusted him enough to marry him.

Eventually, I felt the earth beneath my feet once more. 'Open them.'

When I opened my eyes, nothing could compare to the beauty before me. It was the thing I had missed the most about leaving Earth apart from the ageing, the people and the landmarks: the snow.

It was never winter in Neverland because there were never any seasons because there was no time in Neverland. But on Earth, everything and everyone is changing.

'You've given me snow?' That moment, I watched the snow fall for the first time since leaving Earth. It was endless, a heavy blanket on the outdoors; it had a way about it, a beauty. But I knew that, like many things, beauty could be deceiving.

'I remember the first time you saw it, like you were a child again,' Pan teased.

'You remembered how much I love it?' I gasped, my fingers covering my mouth in shock. I spun around, pecking Pan on the cheek and brought my arms around his neck. We stood there for a few moments, my arms around his neck, his arms around my waist, holding each other perfectly still.

Clean sheets of snow were being blown to the ground by the second. I shivered, my already pale knuckles turning crystal white from gripping his hand. The air sliced through me, crisp and still and the grey of the skies were scribbled with branches. There was an absence of scent, even my senses were frozen.

Pan had never seemed more beautiful in the snow. His face was glistening with cold. The snow on his eyelashes were like crystal diamonds, contrasting his pink, wet lips. His eyes shone with more hope and satisfaction than ever. It could truly be possible that Pan's face lit up as soon as my eyes came to his, like he had been waiting for me forever.

Excitedly, I leaned out one last time and caught a snowflake on my tongue. They tasted so good, so pure and so divine, like nothing I had ever tasted from the sky before. It was as if happiness spread through my body with the cold, but then disappeared and brought depression, all in less then two seconds. It was unbelievable, and yet addicting.
