The Long Lost Princess

Chapter One

Julia's POV.....

My family live in California. They really love me. They said someone gave me to them but they don't know who. Mom said the girl who gave me to them said "Take good care of her." After mom said I can't stop thinking about the girl who gave me to them. "Dinner is ready, come down!" mom shouted "I'm coming, just a minute" I shouted while turning off my laptop.

"Julia, why are you not eating your food? It's your favorite food. I cooked it for you and this past few days after what I told you about how we have you, your always out of your mind." mom said while looking at me worriedly.

Yeah after what they told me I'm always out of my mind. "I don't know mom, maybe I'm not in the mood or maybe I just want to find my parents" I said with a small voice. "I'm going to my room" I added.

I really don't know what happen to me after how they have me. It's like something's wrong. And yesterday the king and I bumped each other accidentally because someone pushed me and the guard was distracted by the people. But after that there's something that I don't understand what I felt that time. Okay change topic and I need to stop thinking about my parents.

Three hours later....

I'm lying down the bed and trying to stop thinking about the accident. Beep.... Beep.... Someone is texting me and it's already late. No one ever text me this time. I mean look it's already twelve midnight and someone is still awake. I mean its just unusual.

Hi Julia.... Remember me??? I know it's late but I just want to ask if your free this Saturday?? If yes, we can meet it the park where we usually hangout. From Jake

Jake is my best friend since grade school. And my ultimate crush. But he doesn't know. He thinks of me like his sister. It hurts but I just don't show him. But the most hurtful is that he has a girlfriend.

Wait.... Did he ask me out??? Or I'm just dreaming???

To: Jake

Hi Jake.... Yes, I am..... Tell me what time....

I am starting to be nervous. Why? I'm hanging out with him and even if he has a girlfriend. I even still remember how he told me he has a girlfriend and he wants to introduce her to me.

Flashback.....

I am walking down the hall going to my locker when Jake suddenly pull me.

"Hey! What's wrong with you?!" I shouted. I mean I didn't mean to shout at him but I'm really not in the mood and I don't have PMS.

"I'm sorry Julia I'm just excited to tell you that I have a girlfriend and I want to intro—" I cut him out.

"I don't care if you have a girlfriend. Just leave me alone and I don't want to know your girlfriend and if your telling me to introduced myself then don't mind because I am not going to introduced myself to her!" I shouted while walking out and leaving him with a shocked face.

I am back with my thought when my phone rang and its Jake.

"Hi Julia, why are you not yet sleeping? Do you need help?" Jake said with his voice worriedly.

"I can't sleep because I miss my parents" I said while I wipe my tears. I even don't know why I'm crying. I probably want to know the reason why they give me away.

"But your with your parents Sophie. Why would you miss them if you always see each other?" Jake said with a confuse voice. Oh yeah, I forgot to tell him that I'm an adopted child.

"Because I'm an a–a–adopted c–c–child" I stuttered. After that I burst out crying. I mean its really hard to accept that you an adopted child and don't know the reason.

"Are you sure? Maybe tito and tita are just kidding." Jake said with a fake laugh.

"Yes, they are not kidding. Dad said when I was still a baby a girl who brought me give me to them. They didn't know the girl's name." I said while sobbing.

"Jake? Can I ask you something and can you help me?" I asked while hoping he will agree.

"Yes Julia, you can ask anything and I will help you" Jake said without any hesitation.

"Can you help me find that girl? I know you know how to stalk and your good in investigation so please please help me find her" I said with a pleading voice. That's also one thing what I have an ultimate crush on him.

"Okay Julia, I will help you find her. But do what I say Julia. Go with me this Saturday" Jake said. Thank goodness he agree but I need to do what he say.

"Okay your highness, good night. See you tomorrow" I said and without waiting for his reply I hang up.

Its already twelve thirty o'clock. And I already feel asleep. I need to go to sleep. Tomorrow is another day. And I hope it will be better.
