A Wish

Part 2

I saw darkness in my bedroom I looked around.  I had a slight headache.  I looked at my clock. 10:30 pm. Wow I slept for a long time.

I decided to take a quick shower. After about a good hour I was out if the shower and fully dressed, Well basically Just a T-shirt and Jeans.

I heard some noise in the Kitchen.

Hmm mom's home early, strange I wonder if she's okay?, What if she got fired.

I walked downstairs only to be greeted by my Dad.

"Daaaddd!!" I yelled while running over to him.

I saw Mcdonalds on the table.

"Hey pumpkin,  Have you grown since the last time I saw you ?" He questioned.

I just rolled my eyes.  He knows that I didnt grow at all.

I looked at the table and gave him a confused look.

"Mcdonalds?" I raised and eyebrow.

"Ya whats wrong with it?" He asked.

I decided to make myself something that's actually decent.  I hated

Mcdonalds.

"So how is ev-" My dad cut off my brother slamming the door.

"I came in like a wrecking ball!" He started singing, terribly I might add.

My father and me just shared concerned looks.

Jason walked into the kitchen,  still singing and then he noticed dad sitting at the table.

"Oh uh um I was just,  Hi?" I rolled my eyes at my brothers lame attempts.

"Jason,  I am growing more concerned about you everyday, and if ever slam my door like that, I will personally get a wrecking ball and slam it into you." My dad finished off while taking a drink of his coffee.

"I can feel the love." Jason mumbled under his breath.

"What was that? " My father asked him, raising his voice. My dad aas always stricter with my brother.  He always wanted us to be protected at all times, so when he's away he counts on my brother to protect us.

"I just said sorry" Jason said , while taking a bite out of my sandwich.

"Hey!" "That was mine!" I growled.

"Ewh, Who puts Mayonnaise on their sandwich." He said while throwing it in the trash with a disgusted look. 

"Maybe people who like Mayo." I snapped.

My dad just had an amused look on his face.

"Ok so enough of that, What is everyone doing tomorrow morning?"

I shared looks with my brother and we just shook our head.

"Okay good, so is May,and your mother doing anything?" He asked.

"Um May, might I have practice but we could cancel that." I said trying to avoid the whole mother thing.  She's always busy.

"Okay, great I get to spend the day with my kiddies!" I giggled at that comment.  I forgot he called us Kiddies instead of kiddos.

"Now what about your mother?" He had a hopeful look on his face.  I knew he missed mom, they barely get to see each other anymore.

"Umm...well she has been kinda busy but maybe she could take a personal day." I gave him a small smile.

"Right, well im off to bed see everyone tomorrow. I love you guys. Oh where is May?" He said while going to his and my mothers room.  "Shes in her room,  sleeping. " My brother answered while looking at his phone.

"Well I'll check on her." My dad answered while going upstairs.

"Hey, Jason?" I questioned.

"Hmm?" He answered, still mesmorized by his phone.

"Um do you think mom, stills -uh you know , l-loves dad?" I asked nervously.

He quickly looked up from his phone quickly and met my eyes. Hus had confusion in them.

"Of course she does.  Why would you ask that?".

"Nothing, nevermind.  Im going off to bed. Night " I waved goodbye not waiting for his answer.

I texted  Britt, And Chase, telling them that I couldnt make it basically because my dad was back and wanted to spend some time with. They understood.
