The next few weeks was quiet but Jace remained on edge. He had warriors patrol twenty four seven and I wasn't allowed out by myself. Jimmy was scared of every sound and he slept in our room on the couch.

I even started having nightmares and would wake screaming for Jace. My loss of sleep made me quick to cry and withdraw. Jimmy would sit on my lap hugging me and begging his mama to come back. Sam was also on guard duty and Jace decided it was time to tell the pack about the threats on their luna. More fighters and trackers joined in to find my family and I hoped they were killed on sight.

While watching a movie with Jace alarms sounded causing Jimmy and me to jump. That was the alarm for a rogue attack but Jace didn't move cause no rogues have been spotted for weeks. Since Ren died all was quiet since Jace took over his pack. A loud knock to the door made Jimmy crawl on my lap and hide his face.

Sam answered and stumbled back as a knife was thrusted into his stomach. I cried out as he fell to the floor. A loud growl was vibrating off the walls as Jace looked down at his beta.
My step dad stepped through the door followed by my mother and stupid step sister. All looked crazy as they looked around and settled their eyes on me. I hugged Jimmy tighter.

Warriors came in and it looked like a stand off. My mother chuckled darkly as she looked at me and my son.
"always the sweet one even though the abuse we all dished out did nothing but turn you softer".

I cringed at her words.
"you were suppose to die but his ex slut messed up", my step dad said looking at Jimmy.

" cute son to bad he will watch his mommy and daddy die".

Jimmy whimpered and new anger coursed through me as I growled loud. My mother looked shocked as I growled and they fought not to bow.

"it can't be",she whispered but I heard cause of wolf hearing.

My step sister walked up to Jace and touched his muscular chest making my blood boil. I was beyond annoyed now and ready to kill.

"she can't be that powerful",my mother said fear evident in her voice.

All I did was laugh before sitting Jimmy down and attacking.
