Love Will Lead Its Way

PROLOGUE

Tanging tunog lng ng keyboard ang bumabasag sa katahimikan ng madilim kong silid as i played with it. Typing nothing. Mahigit anim na taon ko na rin itong ginagamit at masasabi kong comportable ako rito.

I typed the word love out of nothing.

Haha! Wala lng. It just popped in my incaculable hypothalmus to do it. Somethings pushing me to search for its meaning.

Ive researched for the meaning of love in the internet and books. In order to draw out the true meaning of love, hoping that it will be absorbed by the every parts my brain.

Then the meaning revealed.

Love is a feeling of strong or constant affection for a person. Love is when you can't help to think of that individual. Love is when your afraid to lose him/her or afraid of being away from that particular person.
It is the strong affection felt by people who have a romantic relationship; a person you love in a romantic way

Then suddenly, my phone beeped.

A group message was sent to me.

I read it and a curve formed into my lips. What a coincidece. Or it was destiny?

Love is when you imagine your future with the girl/boy you want to spend your life with.

I smiled bitterly with the thought.

Its as exact what I expected back then.

Flashback...

"Hello!'

Napatingin ako sa king gilid ng marinig ko ang isang tinig ng isang batang lalake.

Nagulat ako kung bakit katabi ko na sya dito sa fountain na aking inuupuan ngunit ikinubli ko nlng ang aking pagkagulat.

I just smiled at him without uttering a word, while another tear fell from my eye.

"Uy bata! Bakit ka umiiyak. Sabi sa akin ni daddy na bad daw ang magpaiyak ng babae. Sino umaway sayo bata? Sge na, sabihin mo na. Reresbakan ko! Itong kamao ko ang babasag sa pagmumukha ng taong nagpaiyak sa iyo."

Sabi niya while showing his little hands to me.

Napatawa ako sa tinuran ng batang lalake.

"Uy! Eng-eng ka siguro no?! Bat ka tumatawa habang umiiyak?!"

I smiled again before answering.

"Kase sabi mo bad magpaiyak ng babae tas bad rin nman yang gagawin mo ah? Diba bad ang manakit ng kapwa?"

Natigil siya at biglang napaisip.

I smiled again while looking at his dark brown orbs, pointed nose and a pinkish lips.

Ngayon ko lng napansin na ang cute ng batang ito. Napatingin ulit ako sa kanya ng bigla na nman siyang nagsalita.

"Ay, tama ka rin no. Sge, di ko nlng sya susuntukin. Tatakutin ko nlng siya para di na siya lumapit sayo!"

Hindi ako umimik kung kayat nagsalita na nman siya.

"Tahan na bata. Tignan mo oh, ang ganda-ganda mo tas sinasayang mo lng luha mo sa mga walang kwentang bagay. Ge na, mag smile kana"

He said while pleading me with his puppy eyes. Mas naging cute siya sa paningin ko ngayon, promise!

"Hindi kase walang kwentang bagay yun eh. Big deal yun para sa akin."

Sabi ko habang nakatungo at pinigilang maiyak.

"Hmm, ganun ba? Tungol saan ba iniiyakan mo? Pwede bang malaman?"

I faced him with a smile and said "Sabi nung mga kalaro ko, ampon daw ako."

"Totoo nman ba?"

Tanong niya.

"Hindi ko alam eh."

"Tinanong mo ba parents mo? Narinig mo ba mula sa kanila na ampon ka?"

I shook my head.

"Oh, yan nman pala eh. Tahan na. A beautiful lady like you doesn't deserve to be in tears."

He said while drying my tears with his finger while flashing his very sweetest smile.

I, in the other hand responded to his smile and smiled widely that it reaches not just in my eyes, but also through my heart.

"Ako nga pala si Brix. Ikaw?"

He asked still smiling at me.

"Faisha. Faisha ang name ko."

I said while accepting his hand.

Ang lambot ng kamay niya. And just by holding his hand it just felt so right.

I can say that this is not the end but a beautiful begginning for the both of us. For me and Brix.

End of flashback...

At that very moment, I feel like Im a damsel in distress rescude by my knight in shining armor.

Pangako, babalikan kita Brix. Pinangako ko yun diba?

Sana mahintay mo pa ako.

Sana lng...
