[Eren]

"Can students Eren Jaeger and Mikasa Ackerman please report to the principal's office now?" I cringe, immediately feeling several pairs of eyes on me as I stand from my chair - which makes a large creaking sound against the floor - and gather my books, packing my bag as I do so. I look over at Armin, who sits next to me, and he gives me a questioning look. I just shake my head, my eyes wide, mouthing 'I don't know' to him. He just looks confused and gives a small shake of his head before returning to his work. I look around the room; several people are looking at me.

Silence fills the room as I awkwardly shuffle out of it, and I can't help but realize how shifty I must look going to see the principal with the notorious bully of the school. Sighing heavily, I enter the hallway and walk in the direction needed.

There's nobody in this hallway except myself, and the lonely sound of my footsteps echoing against the walls. I draw a heavy breath in and quickly exhale, closing my eyes for a split second to calm my nerves. I'll bet this is about yesterday. I put my fucking money on it.

Finally reaching the office after what seems like decades, I knock twice before standing back, bowing my head. A few seconds later I hear a click, and look up to see the door swing open. Behind it stands a short, slightly chubby woman with glasses and a crooked nose. She smiles sweetly at me, and I smile back awkwardly, waving a bit.
"Eren?" I nod my head. "Come right in. The principal wants to see you." I'm pretty sure that's what I'm here for.
Walking in, I situate myself in the small waiting area of the foyer, noticing that Mikasa hasn't arrived yet. Will she even arrive? Knowing her, she probably won't.
I shake my leg up and down vigorously to pass the time, tapping a small beat on my knees in time with the clock on the west wall of the room.
Five minutes go by and I'm sent in alone, and I come to the conclusion that Mikasa obviously won't show. I sit myself down.
"Yes sir?" The room remains quiet as my words sink in. The chubby, over-tired man sits in front of me, stroking his wrinkly old chin angrily.
"Where's Miss. Ackerman?"
"I don't know sir." He sighs.
"Very well," He begins and I prepare myself for the worst. "As you are probably well aware, I have called you here for-" The principals speech is cut off by the sound of a door slamming and a series of shouting, which I can immediately identify as Mikasa. She once again sounds angry, although not as angry as she was yesterday. I'm pretty sure that side of Mikasa was one no one had ever seen.

Suddenly the door to the office springs open and Mikasa walks in. I can tell she didn't get enough sleep last night but it seems as though she's fine. Still the same bitchy, moody Mikasa everyone knows and doesn't love.
Mikasa looks at me, then the principal, then to me again. She pulls the lollipop she has between her teeth from her mouth as the awkward silence sets in.
I look back at the principal. His face is red and almost purple.

Mikasa smiles as she slumps down lazily in the seat beside mine, kicking her feet up against the mahogany wooden desk and leaning backward. The tension in here is so thick it makes Mikasas ego look thin. Finally, someone speaks.
"You called?" A playful tone is obvious in her voice, and I think she's well aware that what she's doing is annoying the principal. Nonetheless, she continues.
"Miss Ackerman," the principal recomposes himself. "I have called both of you here to discuss your..." He struggles to find the right words. "indiscretions."
I freaking knew it.

"Oh so just the usual then?" Mikasa retorts.
"Mikasa just cut it out," I pipe up. She turns to me and narrows her eyes.
"Shut it, bright eyes." I sigh. It's not even worth starting an argument.
"Quiet down, Ackerman." The principal interrupts us. Mikasa returns her attention back to the man at the desk.
"Now, yesterday it was brought to my attention that both you and Jaeger had skipped a class, not to mention your involvement in yet another in-school fight. This behavior has got to stop." He turns to face me. "As for you Jaeger, I think it would be best if you and Ackerman no longer engaged in contact." My heart thuds in my chest. There it is again; keep away from her.
"Sir-"
"Now since you skipped classes yesterday you will be given detention. Another will be added for your involvement."
"But Si-"
"Ackerman I will be contacting your parents," I see Mikasas eyes go wide. "and suspending you from school for however long I see fit." Mikasa opens her mouth to speak. Knowing that this is going to lead to a bad outcome, I butt in.
"With all due respect sir, please don't suspend her," I beg, standing up. Mikasa shoots daggers at me. "Give her one more chance. I'm sure it was just something trivial yesterday. Please?" The principal shakes his head.
"Rules are rules, Jaeger."
"Please, sir? It won't happen again," I beg. I look to Mikasa, who has a surprised look on her face. I nod my head a tiny bit to tell her to go along with it, and she sighs slightly. She looks to the principal, who looks at her, and nods her head.
"Yes sir, It won't happen again." Even though she says it, I'm pretty sure all three of us in this room know she's lying. Nonetheless, the principal nods his head.
"...Very well. This is your last warning, Ackerman. I mean it." Both Mikasa and I sigh in relief. "Don't think your actions will go unpunished, Ackerman. You'll be joining Jaeger in detention for the next two days, plus an extra weeks detention after this week ends. You can go," The principal finishes and I nod my head. We both exit.
