Staring out of the church house windows, as my hands were wrapped with one another. The colours of the windows stood out really bright with the sunsets help. It was quiet today but it was a peaceful kind of way. The only noise to be heard were my feet hitting the wooden bench over and over, rocking them.

"Xavier? Is it strange to wonder if god is real?" Excalibur asked breaking me from day dreaming. I look at Excalibur as my smile faded from his words. Staring at him, as he did as well. Trying to read his face, seeing if he was just making a silly joke but he didn't look happy at all.

"Of course he's real, or so I like to believe." I speak. "Why the need to wonder?"

"I just find it strange, to think someone will always be there for you when you can't see them."

"Just because you can't see something doesn't mean it's not there," I said with a smile, in hopes that he would understand a bit better.
I saw tears build up around his eyes, making the green in his eyes brighten up . "Yeah you're right, Xavier. I don't know I just have weird thoughts on my mind sometimes," Excalibur says. Tears then start to stream down his face as he prepared to close them with a smile.

I let go of his hand and jump off the church bench. "Let's go play in the garden!"

"Okay!" Excalibur shouted in joy and once he was on his own two feet  I quickly grabbed his hand again and started running full blast out of the empty church house , then into the courtyard of  the castle.
We ran through the large corridors of the beautiful castle. The more we ran the more we could see the sunset from the large clean windows. I focused on running past people as fast as I could without hitting anyone. After a while of running we found ourselves in the Royal gardens.

It was filled with the most exotic plants. From almost every tropical island discovered by my father. Adaglossum Mandarin, they were bright orange and went in different directions. Arundina Graminifolia, otherwise known as bamboo orchids were purple and white faded on a few of the petals. There are so many more flowers here, but there are so many that it would take me till I'm near dead to name them all.
Excalibur and I ran through the Garden for only mere minutes until, we ran into him.

The man I despise. Sir Eddison.
