As I glided down the hallways, the windows were opened allowing the spring air in. I went over to a window ad took a deep breath.
I hated not being allowed outside, esspiaccally in the summer with all of the flowers in bloom. I paced the floor mentally preparing myself for today.

------------------------------------------------------------
It was the time of the party. The dining hall was filled with guests, and since it was a beautiful summer day, we were allowed in the garden. Mother told me if I ruined my dress I would work for it, and trust me this dress wasn't cheap.
I strolled out into the garden to find William in a suit, surprisingly. His suit was his kingdoms colors, orange and blue. It looked like a tuxedo, but a deep blue with orange embroidery on his shoulders that sparkled in the sun light. Even though he looked like a prince, it didn't suit him. He is the prince who helps a princess escape a castle and make the day fun.
"Hey there your magesty." He joked.
"Hey your stupidness." I joked back.
If there is one thing that I am known for, its my personality.
"So, are you happy soon you will be queen?" William asked.
"No, were throwing a huge party for me to become king." I said sarcastically.
"I knew you were a boy!" He said jokingly.
-------------------------------------------------------------
I went for a stroll in the garden to try to unwind from all of prepyness. Seriously, how prepy can royalty be.
I love the flowers here. We mostly have exotic flowers. But in the garden, we have such a variety it looks like a rainbow lost its color and gathered here.
I should head back before they think I was kidnapped.
-------------------------------------------------------------
Finally, the good part. Dinner.
Everybody was gathered in the dining hall. I am surprised with how good the dining hall looks, Charolette always wanted things her way, perfect.
"I have an announcement!" My Father announced.
Everyone was so quiet, it was like a bullet was shot and someone was killed.
"Okay, so as many of you know... My daughter Stephanie was born 13 years ago today. But some of you don't know of her curse. I will tell the story of Stephanie Lee Maroons.
"One fateful day, about 13 years ago. My wife and I were out for a stroll. We wandered into the woods and got lost." My father paused.
What in the what! I've never heard of this...
"We found a small cottage in the woods. There was an elder woman who lived there. We asked her for directions, but since the night was falling quickly, she allowed us to spend the night." My father looked like she was on the brink of tears.
"Do you have anything to eat, we asked her. She kindly offered us some delicious food, little did we know it was soon going affect our little baby. She cackled evilly. My wife panicked. 'That food is cursed, your child will become a powerful witch with supernatural powers! Your people will be doomed!' She cackled some more. My wife cried. After she was born we named her Stephanie, we decided that we shall have another child so we will not have a witch as queen. Her eyes were a bright green. That's how we knew it was true. Our child was a witch, we didn't have the heart to kill her, so we raised her..." I couldn't bear to listen to any more of this.
Everybody watched me as I stormed out of the room. When I was in the hall I heard my father announce
"So without further ado, Charolette will be the heir to the crown" Everybody cheered while I cried.
-------------------------------------------------------------
While I was in my room, I cried until I think I fell asleep.
When I woke up, my head felt like a rock smashed into it. Then I remembered yesterday.
I glanced out the window, it was dark out. Everything I hoped and dreamed for was ripped away from me. There's no point staying. I got off my bed and went to my dresser. I got a pouch out and filled it with some clothes. I slipped on an old cloak that I got from William. I slipped out of my room and to the kitchen. I grabbed some food, a pouch of coins, and cut my hair. My beautiful hair was chopped to my ears. I cried as I saw my pretty hair lie on the floor.
I heard some foot steps, so I ran and hid under the table.
"I know your in here Stephanie..." I heard the whispers, I quickly realized it was William.
"William?" I whispered back.
"The one and only" He crouched and saw me under the table.
"Listen, if your leaving let me come, I can help you." He whispered.
"No, this is my battle, I'm going to fight it," I whispered, almost in tears.
"Well when your in a battle, you always need someone who will have your back. So let me come," He whispered.
I knew he was right.
"Fine, but your hair needs to get chopped off. I did so you will to." I whispered.
He obeyed. Soon his hair was on the floor too. We burned them quickly and slipped outside though the servants quarter's.
Soon we were outside and it was cold. We stole a horse from the stables and rode off to the closest town. We asked for directions to a town, a bit farther away. He said there's a town quite a bit away, its a days journey. We thanked him. Luckily our cloaks covered our faces so he couldn't recognize us.
