CHAPTER: 1 GETTING FIRED

Firstly this book has been inspired by many things. It is completely based on my pure imagination. I wont just start with the introduction of the protagonists. As  the story goes on, there will be information about them. 

CHAPTER : 1 GETTING FIRED

 It is hard to believe that the day has come when I finally get to do a part-time job. I always wanted to but my parents thought that I am a storehouse of trouble and would end up destroying the poor person's business. Yes, it hurts that my parents care more about the person who would hire me than their own daughter.

I had a shift in this restaurant that was near my school at half-past four that is one hour after the school so I could just wait in the library reading books. I think I will most probably be working in the counter.

I would be lying if I say that I am not nervous, anxious and excited because since I woke up, I have been getting this feeling of being independent.

But all I want is that not a single soul studying in my school should plan on paying a visit to the restaurant. Considering the fact that I am about-to-turn seventeen, I am quiet under confident.

It was the last period and I had gym. I liked this period a lot but the problem was the people whom I had it with. The girls except some were more into attracting the guys rather that actually attracting few points to the team.

Today we were playing basketball. It was one of the two sports I could play along with football. I really wanted to be in the boy's football team but man, the coach being the nasty coach he is, just laughed at my idea.

In my family, I was a complete contrast to my twin-sister, Ava. She was super pretty, very popular and just someone who would prefer shopping instead of improving her grades.

I was too deep in my thoughts that I did not realize that the teams were made and I was in this team full of those girls who would prefer attracting the guys rather than playing. The guys were playing football and oh boy I was so tempted to run there and join the match. Next class I could ask my P.E teacher in advance.

I was getting very anxious that today for the first time, I did not bother playing. I was waiting for the bell to ring but it just didn't. And when it finally rang, my hear started beating faster. It's not a big deal but I am not good with being nice and polite to people.

It was an understatement when I said I am not good and polite with people. Therefore I am not finding it hard to believe that not even an hour of working and I got fired for my job! Wondering why? Well lets go back in time..

I am the restaurant and it looks fancy. I soon realize that they don't have a counter to work on. I go to the staff room and I think it's the manager who addressed me.

"Well, hello. You must be.." He indirectly asks my name.

"Aayana Hansen. I had applied for the job" I said.

"Aayana Hansen! So you are our new waitress.' He exclaimed.

"Waitress? But I thought I will be working in the counter or something." It was against one of my 101 rules. Just making it up!

"Counter? My dear we don't have self service here. Go and change quickly." He ordered quiet harshly while handing me the uniform. It was a check shirt that I was to wear with my own jeans.
