Being Hunted

I haven't had that bad of a life but coming to a human school was the worst desition in my life. I am Finnily Shaun Huntington and my friends call me Fin. I am a vampire. For the first time in a long time I have decided to go to a human school. My parents died a few years ago. So, instead of going to a normal vampire school, I decided to go to a human school.

I meet my best friend Cory James Ellsworth in Middle School. Since then we have been really good friends. He was a big lady's man. He had short black hair that shined in the light. He had green eyes that could mesmerize anyone.

I just have long silver hair, which is what most vampires have. I have red eyes, which I say that I just obtain with contacts. I am just your normal skater.

My other good friend is Trisha Maia Lozano. She has long blue and platinum blonde hair. She also has blue eyes which is the best thing about her. She is very bad ass. Which is why I should have guessed. I realized my fate on one bad Monday.

"Guys. I have something to tell you." Trisha says, walking up to us. She wouldn't meet our eyes and looked very nervous.

"What is it?" I ask, very curious. Not much fazed her, so seeing her this nervous was weird.

"Yeah, you can tell us anything." Cory said with the smile that impressed almost anyone.

"Well, can we talk in private?" She asks, still not meeting our eyes.

"Yeah." We both say and we head outside to where there is no one at the moment.

"Do you believe in vampires?" She asks, very serious. There was no way that she was a vampire. She didn't have silver hair and her hair was blonde and only looked a bit dyed. She didn't have red eyes.

"Of course not, vampires don't exist." Cory said, rolling his eyes.

"No, why would I?" I ask, suspiciously.

"Well, they exist and I hunt them down. I am a vampire hunter." She says. My mouth fell open. I could tell she wasn't lying though. She was entirely serious.

"BBut vampires don't exist." I stutter.

"The only way that I could convince you is to show you. I will bring you my next capture." She says. I looked over to Cory to see that he was thinking along the lines what I was thinking.

"Who is your next capture?" Cory asks.

"A vampire by the name of the Blood Demon. He is one of the worst vampires out there." She says, her hands becoming fists at her sides, "He killed my parents." She says, through gritted teeth and looking away. I could see tears running down her face.

I realized who she was talking about. The Blood Demon is my brother. He has a huge grudge when it came to humans.I never knew why.

"Brother! You can't go!" I say later that day, chasing my brother down before he left.

"Why not? I must eliminate the humans. I know you have been against it but I can't not do it." He says.

"You will be captured. My friend told me today that she was a hunter and that she was hunting you down today. Please don't go." I beg but he just ignores me.

The next day Trisha came to Cory and I, "Look, meet me at my house." She says, and then walks away. We stare at her curiously and continue on with the day. So at the end of the day, Cory and I walk over to her house. When we get there, I go to knock. Before I can though, she opens the door.

"Come in." She says but not before looking around at our surroundings. We then walk in, but it's not like I could without being invited in. That's one f those things that was true when it came to vampires.

She then lead us to the basement. The room was covered in crosses and I rolled my eyes. She was a hunter and she didn't realized that crosses didn't faze most of us. Holy Water ws a different thing.

In a cage was my brother. He was in the corner, hugging his knees to his chest.

"Brother!" He said, coming to the bars. I look away, not wanting to meet his eyes, "I'm sorry I didn't listen to you. You were right." He said t me, "Please help me. I need your help. I couldn't do anything without you brother. This hunter shou-" He starts to say before he was interrupted.

"Shut it vampire." Trisha growled at him, poking him with her stake. When she wasn't looking at me, I mouthed,'I'm sorry.' But it was all that time would allow as she then turned around.

"This is the Blood Demon, the vampire I told you about. He will pay for what he has done." She said, gripping her stake. Tears were threatening to run down my face. I looked away as she stabbed him in the chest, right where his heart was. I didn't see it, but I knew he had busted up into ashes.

"II believe you." Cory said, in wonderment. I couldn't say anything, in fear that I burst into tears.

Later that night I had to inform my parents of my brothers death.

"Mother, Father. I had the unfortunate of seeing Vlad's death." I say, standing tall, trying not to cry. My mother looked shocked and my father had a look of uncertainty.

"You better not be tricking us, boy. This is not funny." My father said in a very serious voice. They were sitting in there thrones, my mother with her head in her hands and my father glaring at me.

"It's true. This is not a joke." I say, not being able to meet their eyes. There was a moment of silence before my father gave a nod.

"And who is the killer?" He asks.

"The hunter." I say quietly. Both my parents eyes go wide.

"Then you must stop them from killing anymore. We have tolerated this for too long." He said, "You will get ready to fight them." He said as a servant came to drag me off, to get me ready for battle.
