Chapter 8

Shadows POV

I sat in the cell at Star Labs. How did I even get here? Did I do something wrong? Anyway, that "Flash" dude came walking into my cell, scratching his head. He opened it, and kneeled down next to me. I gave him a death stare, "what do you want?" I asked confused.

"Its a long story." said Flash, as he was about to leave. "Wait!" I shouted as he looked back, "i have time." I said patting the side next to me.

"Months ago, a man named Professer Harrison Wells created a particle accelerator. It gave me my powers, you know, to run fast."

I nodded.

"I decided to use my powers for good, until I realized that I wasn't the only one affected. From sand, to gas. We thought you guys were one of them, but turns out your not!" He said with a shocked look on his face.

"Where did you guys get your powers?" He asked with eyes of concern.

"I was born with them..that's why my parents left me.." I said with tears falling like rain. He put his arm around me.
"My mom was murdered and they accused my dad..but it was a streak I swear!" he said pounding his fists on the wall. He romoved his mask...reaveling....Barry?

"Barry?" I said, my teary eyes going wide. "How do you know my name?" He said backing away.

"Its me...Shadow! That woman you met at the coffee shop!" I said removing my mask revealing my face.
"And dont-" I placed my fingers on his lips, "and don't worry, I won't tell anyone your identity."

"Ok." He said pushing the romote control to open the cell doors to Voilet, Snow, and I. The four of us walked to Cisco and Caitlyn. (they read their name tags)

"Dude! Why did you let them go?!" said Cisco grabbing my shirt.

"LET GO OF ME!" I said as a pushed him away from me. "I'm not a bad person. It might take I while to trust me, but I'm not one of those villains, and neither are them." I said pointing to Violet and Snow. "Yup, and Shadow even knows me outside of...superhero duties." he said "she even knows my real name!"

"Then what is it?" Said Cisco.

"Barry Allen, his father was accused of killing his mother, particle accelerator exploding causing him to have powers." I said glaring at Cisco.

"Can we...well, join Barry on his...duties? We defeated that man outside of Jitters." said Snow.

"Captain Cold." corrected Cisco.
"Whatevea, but can we join you guys?" said Snow pleading.

"Fine." Said Caitlyn "but you will ave to stay here overnight, its about 12:00 right now." she said pointing to four hospital beds. Cisco and Caitlyn left together holding hands. I guess they were a couple. Anyway, I rested my head on the pillow, letting my body rest.

The next day...
9:00 am

BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP

AGH! I woke up from my dream. I saw Barry on his bed drooling. I felt so bad for him. He spent his time saving other people, yet he should spend his time trying to gain evidence to bail his dad out if jail. I kept staring at him until he opened his eyes. He say me staring, and I immediately looked away. I was so embarassed!

I kinda have a crush on him...
