3 weeks later

   It's finally homecoming week! The one week to screw around at school and do whatever we want. Dress up days, and no homework. Hmm, I wonder if me and Chandler can hang out at the game together..? Maybe cuddle under a blanket and cheer on the team? I put on a pair of leggings and a cute hand-me-down I got from my sister.

   I get to school and don't see Chandler here yet. I walk up to the wall of our prison of a school and take out my iPad and start on the algebra I was supposed to do and didn't feel like doing.

   "-6" I hear from behind me.

   I turn around and give him a childish grin. "Are you sure..? I thought the answer was 2." I say trying to show him up.

   "Nope, I'm pretty sure it's -6." He says. I re look at the problem and see he is correct.

   "Sorry, mister genius. Didn't mean to offend your Einstein like ways." I say with a sarcastic glare in my eyes as I shake it off and hide my hands under his shirt to sheath the cold.

   "It's okay, boo bear." Ooh, I haven't heard that one before.

   "Who are you hanging out with at the game on Friday?" I ask, he's oblivious to the fact I'm going too.

   "Hmm, I don't know. I won't be hanging out with anybody for most of the game. I'm in the pep band." He admits.

    "Oh, okay. I thought maybe we could hang out there for a bit." I sigh and lean up against the wall once more.

   "Well, I wasn't gonna stay after band was done. But if I see you, maybe we can hang out." He says leaning up next to me.

   Maybe?! "Um..okay." Was all I thought I should say before I started to flip.

   "I love you butter cup." He manages to cool my flame.

   "I love you too sugar muffin." Haha. Our nicknames are fricken hilarious.

   "I gotta go. Hopefully next year I won't have to keep saying that because we'll be at the same school." He says slowly walking away.

   I run up to him and kiss him as he grabs my lower back pushing in towards the kiss. "Bye."

   "Bye, babe. See you tomorrow." He says as he steps towards his bus.
