The windows were foggy, the colorful lights flashed all across the room in different directions. Music pounded against the walls and the ground was vibrating to the bass. The small space filled with the scent of liquor. Sweaty bodies danced and sang to the songs. I pushed my way through the crowd and stood in the back. I was wearing . A guy, drunk, came up to me.
"Hey there pretty thing. Why don't we go in the back and have a little fun?" He suggested.
"Sure." I said, pulling myself off the wall.
We made our way to the storage room in the back of the club. He pressed me against the wall and kissed my neck. I let out a shuttered breath and lightly with my hand, made and X over his heart. In the next moment, I dove my hand into his chest and gripped his heart. He was gasping for air and clawing at his chest. I ripped his heart right out of his chest and he was dead in seconds. I looked down at the heart in my hand. Blood dripped down the sides of my hand and through my fingers, splattering onto the floor. I brought the heart up to my mouth and bit down into it. Blood exploded in my mouth and the muscles of the heart were tough. Blood dripped down my chin and my wrist. I took another bite and more blood ran down my chin.
After the heart was gone, I left the storage room and headed outside. I rounded the corner into an alleyway and froze. there was a figure standing in the alley with a limp body at its feet. I saw now that it was a man standing over a woman's body. His face was bloody and so were his hands."Who are you?" He asked, his fists clenched at his sides.
I stared blankly at him, Was he like me?
"Ace, you?" I asked taking a nervous step forward.
"Elijah. What are you doing here?" He asked.
"I could ask the same of you."
My eyes flicked and they were an orangey, fire color. They looked like cat eyes, only a cat wouldn't have this color eyes. He looked back at me and I saw his eyes go from a light brown to an icy blue in seconds. They looked just like mine, only difference was color. It took me a second, but I pushed past him, down the alley. He turned to look at me as I went. I snuck a glance at the body laying limp in front of him. There was a hole in her chest where her heart should be. Is he? Is he like me? Are there others in this town? If so...how many? This was bad. This was really bad. I continued past him and headed home. He didn't know. He couldn't...then again there were my eyes. Did he notice? Who is he? I pushed the thought back and made my way down the sidewalk. The air was cold against my face, arms and legs. A shudder went through my body and I turned onto my street.
I made my way up the steps to my apartment. I entered the building and mounted the stairs. I fished my apartment keys out of my pocket and unlocked my apartment room door. There was a creak coming from the stairs and my gaze shot towards them. All there were, were shadows. I brushed it off and opened my door. I tossed my keys onto the table next to the door and locked it behind me. I kicked off my heels and went into my bedroom. I stripped off my dress and my fishnet leggings. I took off my rings and grabbed my black and white Mickey comic strip shorts, black long-sleeve crop top, and my moccasins. I left my piercings in and changed my earrings. And I always kept my necklace on. (). I laid down on my bed and fell asleep not long after.
