I am No Longer There

Yukina is my broken doll.
I looked at her after my realization. That's why I don't have my left. She has it in order to become complete.
"I'll only live as long as you and Ayato have a bond. Once that's destroyed I will die with it." She said.
Yukine nodded at me. He already knew this.
"I will try my best to protect you Ame-sama"
I stood there in amazement.
"That's fine! Even if you don't have a bond of the soul, you are still part of me!" I said as I went to her.
I could now see that one eye was my color (green) and the other blue as the dolls.
It really is true.
I patted her head in appreciation. She smiled.
"I can't keep my human from for a long time so I'll be going into my true doll form from time to time." She said.
At that moment she did change her form into the doll. I picked her up and carried her to the abandoned building.

A week past and I was getting good at hunting. I haven't been to school or anywhere so it would soon be time to fit in with humans. I think I'll just do fine.
"I should go back to school." I told them. Yukine made a face of disapproval.
"Why?" He said while Yukina trotted across the floor in her doll form.
"You can stay here, it's fine. You don't need school."
I pouted. "It's so boring here though. Even if I can't go to college anymore cause of hunters."
*Hunters are monster hunters. They get paid a lot.*
"I would still like to experience the rest of high school." I said. I looked around the destroyed room. I longed to be in other buildings than here.
"Well Ame-sama can take me in her bag and I could keep watch of her for you Yukine." Yukina said. She made her way to my bag. It was taller than her.
"No I'll just take the form of a necklace or something..." he said. "Anyways, Yukina sewed up your torn u niform."
Yukina pulled the clothing towards me. It no longer had the rips in them.
"Wow!" I said in amazement.
"Oh and we made you an eye patch that you can wear!" Yukina cheerfully trotted to the closet and dragged the eye patch towards me. She tripped and I caught her. She fit in the palm of my hand.
"Careful." I said as she got back to her feet.
I put the eye patch on. It looked good. It was white so I had to make sure it doesn't get dirty.
"Alright! On Monday I will be going to school!" I cheerfully cheered.
We all laughed, it won't be the same sadly.
Ayato doesn't exist in my thoughts.

Ayato:
"Ame!" I called from the outside of her apartment door. She hadn't been to school and I became worried. The last time I saw her is when she called for help. She was crying and I ignored her.
"Damn... I'm so stupid!" I yelled as I punched the door. I promised to protect her and ended up hurting her. She was involved in a incident and was taken to the hospital. When I arrived to visit her. She was discharged. I don't know where she went.
I took out a spare key I was given when Ame moved in the apartment. It was emergencies and this is an emergency.
I unlocked the door. It seemed clean and empty. I searched all the rooms for her.
She wasn't there.
I sulked down on a chair in the living room. I covered my face.
"Ame... I'm sorry..." I cried.
I peeked through my fingers and saw saw photo graph of me and her while we were little. We were both smiling. Happy as kids could be.
I sucked it up and searched for clues.
Nothing.
"What do I do?" I mumbled. I was about to go when I felt a sharp pain in my chest. My vision became a blur. I then had a vision. It was Ame dying from a fall.
It looked like suicide.
"N-No..." I held my breath and ran out of the apartment as fast as I could.
I want to see her. I will find her.
