Joe's POV
It had been 2 days and I still couldn't get her off of my mind. I thought of going to her house to ask her if she was coming to our house warming party on Tuesday but I couldn't get enough courage to ask. Then I thought what if Zoe came with me?
"Zoe?" I screamed down the stairs. "What?" She shouted back.
"Will you come over to Lottie's with me?" There was silence.
Then I heard her pounding up the stairs.
"You like her don't you?"
"W-what no pfft''
"It's totally obvious Joe, just go round there and tell her yourself"
"No I can't do that and anyways I was just going to ask if she was coming on Tuesday" I replied.
"If you don't like her then why does it matter oh and she is coming, didn't I tell you?" She asked before leaving the room. This was a whole load of news to me. What if I embarrass myself? Or what if Zoe embarrassed me? What am I going to wear?
Lottie's POV
Tomorrow was Joe and Zoe's party and I had absolutely nothing to wear. So I called in for help from my best friend Ashley and we arranged to meet up at the Costa in the town centre.
I saw her rushing over and run over to give her a hug. "Lots I haven't seen you in ages" she exclaimed. "We haven't got much time so let's get shopping!" And with that we walked off arm in arm ready to find my perfect outfit.
First was miss Selfridge and then topshop and I finally found a gorgeous outfit.
A black skater dress from river island with black platform heels from forever 21. "So do you really like him then?" Ashley asked as we sat down at a table at nandos.
"Well I don't know him that much but I feel like we've got a special bond you know?"
" I totally know what you mean because I.."
But at that second a guy in a black leather jacket hit my arm with his bag sending my phone across the table and knocking my water over the menus and on me.
"Oh my goodness I am so sorry.Here let me get you a.."
I knew that voice, that musky smell.
"Joe! What are you doing here?"
" oh I came shopping for tomorrow. I am really sorry.Do you want me to get some more tissues?"
"It's fine, honestly! I came shopping for that too." Then I saw Ashley sitting across the table. " This is Ashley"
"Nice to meet you" she said as she shook Joe's hand.
"Yes and this is Caspar"
"She's even prettier than you described dude!" He said in awe.
"Caspar!" Joe said blushing. I couldn't help but laugh.
"Why don't we all get a table together?" Caspar asked pulling up a chair beside Ashley.
"Sure I don't see why not" I exclaimed watching Joe collect his bags and sit beside us.
His droopy hair and teeth glistening in the light. He was perfect. x
